Men's No Iron 6" Plain Front Chino Shorts
These shorts are a little full in the legs
These shorts are of average quality and should wear as well as most but they are a little full in the legs. I would recommend these shorts to a friend but there are others I have purchased on line that are a better fit.

Color is what I expected.
Have yet to wear this pair of shorts. As a short guy, they look to be about the right length.

They look Great
My hubby has nice legs from hiking and he gets to show off in these shorts--Why do men's legs get better as they age?

Good quality shorts, with some "short-comings"
It's difficult to find real shorts these days, with so many of them being long, not short. At 6", this length is perfect for me. They also fit well, and the material feels first rate. I recommend them. There are a few short comings: 1) the smallest waist size is 32, which seems strange as many Lands End pants come in 30 inch waist size 2). The pockets on these shorts are way too long. If you have anything in the pockets, and then sit down, the pockets show, as they hang down lower than the shorts. I had to take them to a tailor and have the pockets shortened. 3) I like the black colored shorts. They're fine, but wash them a few times, and they become navy, not black.

Pants are Great
I like everything about these pants except that you can't get them in 7 or 8 inch length. The 9 inch length is just a little too long for me.

The price was very good and the quality is very high. Delivery was extremely quick.

I wear these shorts every day during the spring through Fall months. They fit great and I am particularly happy that Landsend carries shorts with 6" inseam (they are hard to find) . The quality is excellent and I have 2 pairs that I still wear after 10 years of use. I wear these to almost any occassion including church. The quality of my newly purchased pairs are excellent as expected.

I've worn these Lands' End shors for at least 20 years.
Here's the problem that started about two years ago. The front pockets are too long, so when you sit down, the pockets show below the leg. You either need to make them shorter or tack them to the hem so that they ride up with the legs and not hang below them.

Nice, But One Flaw....
It's so hard to find nice-fitting, neat-looking shorts with a 6" inseam (As opposed to the Bermuda shorts style, long, baggy abominations sold as shorts just about everywhere else these days!). These Lands End shorts are JUST what I was looking for! Quality material which looks neat; sturdily-made; and doesn't make you look like a clown or "gangsta". The only flaw- and the reason I didn't give them 5 stars, is because the front POCKETs are so long, they come right down to the bottom of the leg hem! Put some keys and change, etc. in them, and they actually protrude from the bottom of the leg- almost always while sitting, and often even when standing! This is ridiculous for a pair of shorts that cost $39! I had to have the pockets taken-up on the two pair that I ordered! Seems like they just made these from the same pattern as long pants, and just used a shorter leg, while keeping everything else the same- or maybe they had an over-stock of long pants, and just cut them down! Never-the-less, I will be buying more...only because it has been impossible to find anything similar anywhere else. But it just isn't right to have to put up with such a defect. Otherwise, they are perfect-O-mundo!

Pockets stick out when sitting down
The fabric is nice, the fit is good. However, the pockets stick out of the bottom of the shorts while seated. Need to be shorter so this doesn't happen. As the family seamstress, I will have to modify and shorten them before my husband will wear them again...
