Our swim dresses are made from the same high-tech materials as our bathing suits. Lycra® Xtra Life™ spandex fiber keeps its shape and stays strong in chlorinated water. We also use Slendertex® fabric, which smooths, slims, and defines your figure with its tummy control design. You’ll also love the sewn-in soft cup bra that also provides the extra support you need to wear your swim dress freely without the worry of bra straps.
Where can I wear a swim dress?
You can wear a swim dress almost anywhere. Take one for a day at the pool with the kids, or a beach vacation. They’re also great for barbecues and parties, as they provide the coverage of a dress and the freedom to splash around during let’s say— a water balloon fight, a water gun fight, diving into a water slide, or any other party games that include water. They are also a great addition to your water aerobics wardrobe as they are a fun way to spruce up your everyday workout swim gear.
Another popular place to wear your swim dress is an amusement park that has a water park inside. The swim dress is especially convenient for places such as these because it lets you bounce back and forth without a change of clothes. Because of the type of material that we use, you can air dry as you walk through the park and get on the rides. Just bring a lightweight jacket such as a denim jacket and an extra pair of socks along with a pair of sneakers to keep you warm should you get a little chilly or if you plan on staying until dark. Can a swim dress keep me from burning?
A swim dress covers more of your body than one of our tankini tops and a pair of matching bottoms, making it a safer choice right off the bat. The material we use also provides UPF 50 sun protection, which is the best you can get. You should still use sunblock though, especially on exposed skin. To be sure you preserve the quality of the material, be sure to follow the wash instructions on each of our pieces.
Will a swim dress support my bust?
Many of our swim dresses feature concealed bras to support and flatter your bust. A sweetheart neckline on a swim dress, for example, with an underwire bra, is super supportive. You can confidently wear it all day long, knowing everything is just where it should be. The removable soft cups provide a comfortable lift and support and if you feel like you don’t need them, you can easily remove them.
Another way we are giving your bust more options is by the variety of neckline cuts that we design our swim dresses with. For example, our rectangular neckline swim dresses are flattering for those with a short neck or narrow shoulders since the square line will give the illusion of wider shoulders while accentuating your bust. If you have a larger bust, a square neckline is also flattering since it doesn’t go as deep as a V-neck cut.
Are swim dresses comfortable?

Are swim dresses good for wearing in a pool?
If you want to be a little more covered at the pool, try wearing a swim dress. Unlike a T-shirt, they don’t become heavy when wet and won’t slow you down when you’re exercising or doing laps.
