Women's Pattern Matte Jersey Dress
Incredibly flattering for an hourglass
This dress is incredibly flattering to my figure. The princess seams really highlight the waist. My only disappointment is when I tried to buy a second one in the navy blue, it wasn't available in my size.

This dress fits wonderfully!
There is nothing uncomfortable about the way this dress fits. Like the picture on the model, the dress fit snug where it was supposed to and hung fabulously in all the right places. I am a petite 5'4" and I have a difficult time finding a dress to fit comfortably around my D cup chest, but this dress is perfect. I also love that you can wear it dressed up or down. I bought it to wear to work and have gotten lots of compliments on it.

Surprisingly heavy in your hands, but light weight and comfortable to wear. The gold buttons are ugly but can be easily replaced. I plan on removing the fabric belt and using a black belt or ribbon to break up the pattern a little. I am 5'3 and 155 lb with most of my weight in my hips. This dress compliments my curves and has beautiful pleats that fall perfectly and the fitted top is great to accentuate my waist and bust. I do not find the dress "dawdy" or plain, the pattern is quite nice and can be dressed up or down with boots, flats or heels. The only drawback is the ugly buttons...not sure what designer thought bright gold buttons were a good idea but they look odd.....

This dress is perfect. I ordered it in a petite small. I am under 5' tall and about 140 lbs. It fits like a glove. I was worried the arms would be too tight, which is a frequent problem with tops. I have a muscular build. The arms fit great. The material is heavy and thick but still perfect for summer. The dress falls and moves perfectly. I plan to wear it with a pair of ballet flats or a black leather knee high boots depending on the event. It's casual enough to wear with flip flops, but can totally be dressed up for a night out. Worth every penny.

I really wanted to like this but found the style frumpy and heavy-- and despite the surplus fabric it still managed to hug my belly and hips and made by 34D breasts look even larger than they are.

Give it a chance...:-)
So I tried this on when I first got it in the mail, and hated it for some reason. Waited a couple of days and tried it again with a skinny black belt and a cute pair of flats, and I'm good again. I think you have to give it a day or two to figure out the way to wear it best for you. It really is a cute little dress and I love that it has kind of a twirly skirt since I have some hips. I'm a plus by the way - this is my usual 1 x. I like enough I will probably order the black one and suggest that Lands End offer it in some other colors, and maybe a inch longer hem? I do love that it has sleeves!! Hope this helps any of you who may be on the fence about either purchasing, or keeping. Thanks!!

Classic style and print in a great fabric
Living in the South, classic tweed/woolen items don't get worn much, if ever. But this dress allows me to have a beautiful classic tweed look in a climate appropriate fabric- hooray!
I was surprised at some of the negative comments I read, so I will address them now.
The buttons are gold, but very dainty and a muted, light gold- I usually wear silver jewelry, but found a great silver and gold chain necklace that looks fantastic. It would also be very easy to change the buttons to some of your liking. "Problem" solved.
The sleeves are form fitting but very comfortable due to stretch fabric- definitely no "sausage arms" for me. The cuffs on the sleeves are only tacked down at the seams, so you could remove these tiny stitches and unfold the cuffs if needed. I tried it on with a sweater (with the cuffs intact), and it looked wonderful.
The skirt is just the right width and length and is as pictured.
The fabric is a great weight and feels heavenly soft. This is a lovely business type dress that can be dressed up or down. Winner!

Great fit, easy to wear
I'm 5'4", 118 pounds and ordered the regular, XS. It fits perfectly. Hits right at the knee. Very flattering. This dress is easy to dress up or down. I took the self-fabric belt off and wear it with a skinny black patent belt. The only thing I'm not wild about are the bright gold buttons. I'll probably swap those out for some plain black ones at some point.

Love this dress with some caveats
Overall I have to say that I love this dress for 3 main reasons - soft/comfortable fabric, flattering for a pear shape, and is professional yet sassy with a pair of black boots for work. I have to agree with the other reviewers that the material is heavy, but it so thin and stretchy it feels like pajamas. I am also *not* a fan of the gold buttons. All of my jewelry is silver but I loved the flattering look of the dress too much to make this a dealbreaker. I had no issues with the length of the dress like other reviewers described. I am 5'5" and a true 6-8 and the small fit perfectly everywhere.

I was disappointed. It was way too short on this 5'5" plus size lady. Also, the buttonholes began to ravel the very first time I tried it on. Too bad--I loved the fabric, but fit and detailing didn't measure up.
