Solid ClassMateŽ Soft Sided Lunch Box
Ripped... Like everyone else
Like everyone else, the interior lining ripped after only two months' of use! How ridiculous.

You Guessed it...Interior Lining Is Ripped!
Just noticed this now, that the lining is ripped. I am guessing it has been this way since we received it in November of last year. Poor quality; disappointed.

Interior lining rips!!!
I bought this for my son for kindergarten. Within three weeks, the interior lining ripped along the seams. I exchanged it for another one- different color because of course, the color I originally ordered was no longer available. I will say that the exchange process was very easy. However, here we are 6 weeks later and the lining in the new lunch box has started to rip again! I am so disappointed because I actually really like this lunch box- it's a great size and the exterior is really rugged. But the interior is cheaply made. I will never buy this again and I plan to get the lunch box with the hard plastic interior. Unfortunately that is out of stock until January. Based on all the other reviews, Lands End needs to get rid of this lunch box or find a better way to seal the interior lining.

Interior Lining Ripped Within Weeks
I was only reading the reviews of this product after I contacted Lands End today to let them know that TWO of these lunch bags, which I bought when my twins started Kindergarten about seven weeks ago, had literally come apart at the seams. Obviously it's a common problem! When wiping them out last week, I noticed that both lunch bags had torn at their inner bottom seams inside the bags, so they're no longer fully insulated, and food and crumbs get trapped. I'm afraid to exchange them and end up with the same problem, but I do like the outer construction and the mesh side pocket for a water bottle.

Cute but not good quality
I purchased this lunchbox in a different pattern. In fact, I ordered 2 lunchboxes one with the hard sides and a soft sided one. The hard one held up except our son dragged it along the walls so, I decided to pitch it for the new school year and use the soft sided one. The gray interior came apart at the seams within weeks. Now I am looking for another lunchbox. I am shocked by the number of people who have had the same experience. What a disappointment! The outside of the lunch box has held up, as well as, the backpack, but this lunchbox is a epic fail!

Outer material wonderful, interior is lacking....
Love the construction of the outside of lunchbag - the zippers, zipper pulls, handle are all great, but the inner liner is the pits! We're less than 6 weeks into school and my son who only attends SK for half days, has the liner come apart along the seam. Can no longer get the matching pattern with the backpack and will think twice before ordering a new one.

Lining Ripped in the First Month of Use
So disappointed. Grey lining is poorly made and ripped around the seam edges in the first month of use. Wasn't used for anything heavy or bulky. Pattern is sold-out so no replacement available to match the backpack my son chose. We had problems last year with this same style lunchbox but at least that box made it almost a full year before the lining separated. Incredibly disappointing; son is so upset. No more Lands End lunchboxes for us - not worth the price.

Ripped in one month
I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. The mesh holder on the side, which holds a water bottle, ripped the very first day I sent my son to school with this bag. We continued to use the box until today. After 6 weeks of use, the plastic lining ripped out of the seams today. So now food and liquid gets trapped in between the liner and fabric. For the amount I paid for this lunch bag, I expected it to last the entire school year.

Just don't last
I love the look of the lunchbox and it fits everything with room to spare, but....
The interior is cheap and nasty. The lining does not last and tears within a month. I prefer the solid lunchboxes but they are too big for those time during the week the kids get a lunch order. Please look at having a more rugged interior that I can wash. My son is a real lunchbox grub and I am always having to wash it intensely due to bits being caught in the folds and seams. The melting of the interior to create the seams does not last the distance!!!!

Not impressed with embroidery
The embroidery was crooked not to mention there were strings hanging out from the edge of the letters. My daughter INSISTED on keeping it but I would have rather sent it back. For the cost I would have liked better quality of embroidery.
