Men's Plain Front Traditional Fit No Iron Chino Pants
Great fit, look great!
I haven't always had great luck with pants from Lands End because of my build. But these pants fit my muscular build just fine. They look great. Will definitely order these again.

I like them!
I've worn khakis from other brands, including RL and Bill's, and I can tell you that the quality of these khakis from LE are quite good. Also, and this is a personal thing, but I think khakis should NOT be wrinkle free, they look far too smooth and artificial. I know they are advertised as such and some have complained, but happily they are not after a few washes. The intention of wearing khakis (or even jeans) —especially with an oxford shirt or polo— is a clean, laid-back look. If you want wrinkle-free, go for dress slacks. Regarding the look, the traditional cut is full, and which I consider a "classic look". For the price, these are great for weekends and kicking around. Nice job LE.

We used to purchase the no-iron twills before the price went up several years ago, and then switched to the chinos for the price. We buy the same 4 colors over and over and have been doing so for years. Black, navy, khaki, and stone. Lands End pants typically last us 2 years before needing replacement for blown out knees and seat. Black blows out the fastest. Navy rips the side seams by the pockets. Just Navy, no other colors do that (and I see they now no longer offer Navy in this selection). Black and Navy stay the same size wash after wash. The khaki and the stone? They shrink! And not right away, it's just a little tiny wee bit wash after wash. 4 pairs, same style, only difference is the color. Now that the stone & khakis have been worn enough to begin fraying the hems, they barely fit and have shrunk in the inseam so bad they look ridiculous. The first several pairs we purchased from LE years and years ago were MUCH better quality. We've kept purchasing despite quality doing down because it's very difficult to find a 32 waist and unhemmed inseam. Finally the place we order jeans from is offering dress pants . . . at less than half LE's price. If their dress pant quality is equal to their jeans quality (which is fantastic!), you can be sure we won't purchase LE pants again.

Good quality and price!
The waist seems to be a little snug, so we went up a size for my husband. These fit better. He wears them to our store, often having them on for 16 hours a day, and any place that he has to go before the store opens. These pants are not babied, and stand up to the test.

The pants are a good fit and feel comfortable. Sturdy fabric, but not heavy.
The pants were true to size. I like not having flaps on the back pockets. The plain front has a nice, clean line. They are comfortable.

cut too slim
I have been purchasing pants for years from Landsend and have been satisfied on the cut and fit. My recent chino purchase was a very different cut from the older traditional fit. The new cut is much smaller in the waist/hips/thighs. I double checked to make sure it was not a slim fit and it was labeled traditional. I layed the new pants on top of the old pants and there was a clear difference in the cut being much smaller in size in the hips and thighs maybe at least an inch or so. I needed to switch to a different company for a better relaxed fit.

Husband loves the fit
My husband is hard to buy pants for, because he is tall, but has a larger waist than most stores carry in long lengths. We've purchased from Land's End for years because we can get the length and size he needs in fabrics that he likes to wear. This pair is a hit with him.

Good quality, but with a reservation
Quality is very good. Expandable waist band is quite comfortable. But don't expect these pants to be truly No Iron...they come out of the wash in pretty good shape, but not exactly ready to wear without some ironing.

What Happened to Quality?
Used to live near a Lands End outlet (now closed), where I could check out all the items in person. Those pants (3 - 10 years ago) were the best quality available. The quality has been steadily declining. The last 2 pairs I bought online have held up for ~25 wearings so far... and they are coarser, more faded and have shrunk considerably more than my much older LE pants that have been through 3-4X as many washings and wearings. They are wrinkled right from the package and apparently designed to stay that way, regardless of the advertising. They need to be retired (wrinkled, faded "floods" aren't office acceptable). Lands End is apparently one of the few company that can make pants in my size 33Wx31L, so kudos for that. But until I see evidence that the quality has improved, no more purchases from LE.

Excellent choice for those who need long-rise pants.
Fit is great, both plain front and pleated. Quality is excellent and price is reasonable. Very comfortable out-and-about pants. I haven't been able to find long-rise pants in my neck of the woods so kudos to Lands' End for selling them!
