We’ve finally ended the down vs. synthetic debate

Every time you shop for a winter coat, you’re faced with an age-old question: down insulation or synthetic? Not anymore. We’ve created the ultimate hybrid, a jacket-within-a-jacket that gives you the benefits of both. On the outside: a puffy, quilted layer filled with nature’s best insulator – 600 fill power HyperDry® down, treated to resist water and dry quickly. Inside: a second fully quilted layer filled with the best humankind has to offer – 100 gsm of quick-drying PrimaLoft® insulation that can provide warmth even when wet. And between both: an open pocket that traps even more warm air. Oh, and you know how some quilted jackets get those “cold spots” around the stitches? We’ve solved that, staggering the quilting of each layer so the seams never meet. It’s thoughtful details like this – along with a whole host of others, like the durable and water-resistant ripstop nylon shell, five pockets and element-blocking cuffs – that make this one of the most serious winter puffers we’ve ever offered. We’re not going to say it makes scraping ice off your windshield feel like strolling on the beach in the Bahamas, but it’s pretty darn close.
