Girls' Stormer Jacket
My daughter loves her new winter coat.
The colors are great. My daughter especially likes the sleeves that have a loop for your hands.

Great coat. My child wore it this very cold New England Winter and never complained of being cold. Lightweight which was great. I ordered it in the next size up for next year!

Love this jacket.
My 10 year old hates bulky coats, but we live in Northern MA. and she needs a coat that is warm and can stand up to all kinds of weather. This jacket has been a favorite, she loves the fleece cuff on the sleeve to keep snow out and that she has a lot of mobility and warmth without bulk. It is also very cute

My daughter loves this jacket, especially sticking her thumbs through the hand warmers in lieu of wearing gloves if it isn't too cold out. She has only had this coat for a month but it has endured many frigidly cold days and snow piles. It has all the quality and performance I've grown to expect from Land's End.

Love this jacket!
Great jacket, not too heavy but warm enough for end of winter weather. Beautiful colors!

Great style and function!
We live in Cleveland and get tons of snow and super chilly temperatures! This is a great coat for our weather. Its great to layer and is waterproof for long outdoor play. It's also great for wearing unlayered for car rides and in and out of buildings when you dont want all that bulk! Great price! Great colors! Love the elastic cinch waist in the back. I wish it had the cute lighthouse logo on it. A lot of my sons clothing items have it, but the girls clothing doesnt. I love details like that :) Doesnt really matter though. Great coat that will last both my daughters daily wear! Maybe youll add more lighthouses next year. Please :)

Warm and light. My daughter loves it!
It's great. The weather has been frigid here in the Northeast and my daughter has been toasty.

good wind protection
A good basic jacket for chilly southern winter. Wouldn't be enough for regular use below 40 degrees in my opinion.

This lightweight jacket seems well made and is of good quality. Ran a wee-bit small in the length compared to other jackets over the years. Otherwise it is true to size. Length not a big concern since jacket is broad enough. Jacket feels lightweight, it was purchased for early spring use when it is still cool but not freezing. If we are lucky and polar temps finally leave, then this jacket should great.

Fabric is different
Last year I bought the same coat and the fabric was a stormer fabric. Hence the name. This year I bought the next size up, but the fabric is more of a slicker, nylon construction?? Still seems like it will block wind and this coat is thin, but layers well when playing in the snow. My daughter has yet to complain when layered appropriately. Yes, a short sleeved shirt will be a little chilly on a 20 degree or less day, but that's kind of obvious to me. So is the fact that kids don't always like to layer. Guess that could be a good teaching moment? The next size up seems a little big, but we are still keeping it. I'm guessing her current size may be good for part of next winter, but probably no the entire season. I also like the elastic back to keep more of the draft out and it makes the coat less boxy. In addition to the fabric change, I noticed the sleeves no longer have the grow with me function. I guess we wont know until she finally uses the coat, if either of these two changes has us buying a different coat in the future. Slightly disappointing because her current and first LE coat has made everyone happy.
