Boys' Stormer System 3-in-1 Parka
This is a nice jacket for the money. It fits a little big on my son -- he's 12 - he is neither the smallest nor biggest kid in his class. He love the thumbholes on the sleeve! Jacket styling is nice and it keeps him warm and dry through this snowy, cold winter.

Fabric not Durable - Ripped After 1 Week
We had this jacket for 1 week, when my 3 year old fell off his bike, and the jacket ripped. It appeared that toggle inside the pocket created a pressure point, tearing a hole in both the pocket lining and the outer shell of the jacket. Customer service told me they would refund my money for this item. I ordered the squall as a replacement; my daughter has a squall, and the outer material seems much more abrasion-resistant. Kids jackets need to be tougher than this.

The jacket fits both of my boys perfectly
Great quality and big enough that my boys will be able to wear them next year. Warm but not too heavy

Lower quality compared to Squall
I have been buying LE winter coats/ snowpants for a decade. Each winter item lasts through three boys! I purchased the newer Stormer line and was not impressed with the quality of the outer layer. I doubt it would last through three boys. Stormer is not rated for temps as low as Squall, important for me in Wisconsin winters. Spend a few extra bucks for the Squall.

I got this for my son, & he says it's great. Very warm, while he's waiting for the school bus.

Perfect Color and Fit
Purchased this style for one grandson last year, and this year for the younger one in different colors. He loves the colors and the option to wear the jacket with the liner or not. Jacket liner is soft and comfortable and frequently worn in the house when it is a little chilly. Very pleased with this purchase.

Not Up to Lands End Normal Quality Standards.
I bought this coat to replace a Lands End coat my young son has outgrown. If I had seen and touched this coat in a store, I would have considered it cheaply made and never have purchased it. Thankfully I bought it during a 40% off sale, but it still seemed overpriced compared to other jackets. The outer layer feels like a flimsy windbreaker (albeit lined). There is no reflective striping on it anywhere. The boys version has no zipper overflap with Velcro to easily close it and keep it hung on a hanger. My son loved the jacket solely because of the bright orange color and insisted we keep it, so we kept it. But I am doubtful that it will last long enough to be handed down to another child like our other Lands End jackets. Heads up, the jacket is very long and the sizing chart does not accurately convey the size needed. On the positive side, it does seem warm with the fleece liner and my son loves the hand warmer in the sleeve. But why such a decrease in your quality, Lands End??

Good start - hope it holds to old standards
Over the past decade we have come to depend on Lands End coats and so far this one is living up to the old standards. The tell will be mid-January when the bitter winds blow and if the zipper holds up past the 2 year mark.

Flexible and good quality
My son, 15, really likes this coat. He likes the zip out lining and has worn it separately. It hasn't been terribly cold here yet (just mid20s for morning lows) but so far has kept him warm at the bus stop.

Nice coat, runs a littel large
I bought a red one for our skiing trip. My son is five, about 40 pounds and 43in and I bought him size 5-6. It seems quite large on him for the outside shell, but inside fleece jacket is not that big. I guess a size 4 can fit him well. The cost is warn and can be worn in 2 ways. My son loves it so much! Also the shipping is fast. I am satisfied.
