Our size charts are available in both inches and centimeters and include measuring instructions. If you are unsure about size, please take your measurements. Doing so will greatly reduce the guesswork - and the need to return something that doesn't fit! If you have any questions regarding fit, sizes or taking your measurements, please call us at 1-800-963-4816.

How to measure for footwear
If you own a comfortable pair of shoes in a style similar to those that you'd like to purchase, order the same size. If you don't know your size, have your feet measured with a foot measuring device. Measure both feet after you have been on them for at least several hours, and order the size of the larger foot. Once you've determined your size, you can confidently order any pair of shoes from Lands' End in that size. (Please note: some of our footwear styles are offered only in whole sizes. Individual product pages will indicate whether to size up or down.)
Lands' End shoes are made primarily for the American market, where the average width is a U.S. "B". We also offer some styles in Wide, which is a "D" width. In Europe, the average width is a U.S. "D," and in Japan even wider. In general, casual footwear such as soft sole moccasins, slippers and sandals are made to accommodate a wide range of widths. For more structured footwear, ordering a half-size larger may provide extra width.
