Have you ever wondered what it was like to be a content creator for Lands' End? Have you ever wanted to know more about who the content creators are and what their lives are like outside of their jobs? Then keep reading. I had the chance to ask Ellen Homestead some questions about her life. She is one of the influencers we worked with on our Fall Holiday Campaign. She is a photographer who shares her life through breathtaking images of her travels. In this article we will get to learn more about Ellen's personal life, her life as a content creator, and her travels.

Where are you from?

I grew up in a small town in the middle of Norway.

How did you get into photography?

I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, but I only started to take photography seriously a few years ago. During the lockdowns I started hiking more frequently in my backyard, and the camera always came with me. That's when it truly became a passion of mine.

What is your favorite Lands' End piece you wore during your campaign and why?

Good question! As for the female pieces I loved the thermoplume QLT jacket, I have always been a huge fan of the forest moss color! But I must admit that I also stole my boyfriend's fleece snapneck after we finished the shoot.

What is your process for coming up with new content?

Heading outdoors! That is where I feel the most creative and inspired, and there is no shortage of beautiful views and scenery to photograph. This also goes for when the weather is poor because that's often when you get the coolest images.

What are your favorite places you have traveled to?

I am pretty sure I left a big chunk of my heart in New Zealand. I was lucky to experience quite a lot of that country while I lived there a few years ago. There is truly no other place where the scenery is so diverse and vibrant. And the down-to-earth people there are also a huge bonus.

What are some of the best hikes you have been on?

Lofoten and northern Norway provide some absolutely stunning hikes. There is nothing like hiking up a mountain during the midnight sun. The colors are so vibrant, and the landscape so dramatic and lush.
