This did cheer everyone up and they all even decided to wear the pjs all day on Christmas. "Even the pups wore buffalo plaid for our family Christmas! First time ever for matching pjs...a huge hit that brought smiles and laughter throughout the day. Someone decided we should wear them all day...so we did...breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Thank you, Lands' End! Just want you to know that the pjs really set a joyful tone for what I feared would be an unbearable Christmas. My husband died in September following a 9-month battle with Multiple Myeloma and I was dreading the holidays - couldn't face shopping at all until your catalogue arrived. I was suddenly inspired to order the buffalo plaid pajamas (16!) as a way to "lighten things up" and not be the Grinch. Well, they did the trick! Just before bedtime on Christmas Eve, I asked everyone to open the gifts from me. The room erupted with excitement when they all started to realize what was happening. My son-in-law suddenly stripped to his boxer shorts and immediately donned the pjs, causing hysterical laughter...and so the fun began. Even though some friends and distant family joined us for Christmas dinner, 'we' still stayed in the pjs...it was like they were binding us together. So, despite heavy hearts, we had an amazing Christmas, one that I know my family will always remember. I'm so happy that you enjoyed the photo and hope it will be used. It includes my three daughters, two sons-in-law, five grandsons, three granddaughters, two sisters-in-law and myself."
