Made in the U.S.A.
In 2012, Lands' End launched the "Made in the U.S.A" collection - starting with the Durable Goods line. Lands' End is proud of the company's heritage and understands the importance of manufacturing products in the US. When sourcing manufacturing facilities, we always look to partner with the highest quality companies, working with vendors and artisans in the US whenever possible. Lands' End currently offers many American-made clothing, home, pet and specialty items.
Supima Cotton Products
Lands' End features items constructed of Supima cotton that is exclusively grown in the US. Only the top three percent of America's cotton crop earns Supima status. The name "Supima" is a contraction of "Superior Pima." It was coined in 1954 by American growers who wanted to safeguard the quality and reputation of pima cotton. Because it takes a hot climate with limited moisture to yield the fibers, Supima is supplied by only about 500 growers in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
For the perfect Adirondack Chair we went to the source, finding a family-owned business that's been crafting them right in the Adirondack Region for 35 years. Each chair is made with hand-selected red maple sourced from sustainably-managed local forests.
For years Lands' End has partnered with a vendor based in Delavan, WI, for many of our holiday specialty gifts. We work with them to create our unique pewter ornaments, stocking and place card holders.
