National Forest Foundation (NFF)
In 2012, Lands’ End became a proud corporate supporter of the National Forest Foundation. Founded by Congress in 1991, the NFF works with the U.S. Forest Service to care for the 193-million-acre National Forest System. As a nonprofit organization, the NFF works with people and corporations to help fund the restoration of National Forests and Grasslands. Through this partnership, Lands’ End was able to fund the planting of over 385,000 trees in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Northern Wisconsin and the Hiawatha National Forest in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

University of Wisconsin
Since 2010 Lands' End has partnered with the University of Wisconsin School of Business and its "business sustainability course." Part of the partnership has students assigned two to three projects each semester with a goal at looking at a specific area where a company can improve its sustainability efforts. Most recently, students from the UW tackled two projects at Lands' End. One project evaluated and proposed options to improve the sustainability of packaging to our consumer. The other project surveyed and compiled key messaging and branding opportunities some of our competitors have been doing regarding sustainability.
