I Love these pants!
I'm 5ft 3" wgt 130, but I have long legs. I bought the small, I could have bought them in a 4, but I love the stretch in these and wanted a more relaxed fit without such a tight waist band. I also wanted to throw them in the dryer. They are a thinner material than pants landsend has made in the past. I have been waiting years for them to make these. I bought 4 pairs. I feel like I should buy more in case they change them. By the way I don't do yoga. Just love the pants. Thanks Lands end!

Really comfortable, but runs large!
Lightweight yoga wear but runs large. I'm 5'8" 145lbs and I ordered a small/tall. Probably would have been okay with an extra small. Seems to stretch out a bit by the end of the day.

Great pants but too short for me
I had ordered a yoga pant in black a couple years ago. Love the fit and the length was great. This time I thought I would get one in navy. Ordered the same size but the length was too short by about 3-4". I am tall, 5 ft 9". Why did they change the length of the pant? It fit great with the pair I got a couple years ago but guess too many women complained about them being too long. Darn. so had to send them back. They fit great every where else (hips, waist, leg width). I would recommend them but only if you are shorter than I am. They are a good quality pant for everyday use.

Waistline concerns....
I take a yoga class twice a week. I am 67 years old. I purchased my size (M) in this pant and found it to be correctly sized. I discovered, however, that the pant has a slightly dropped waistline, which I don't recall being mentioned in the description. Personally, I don't like where a dropped waistline ends up when I bend over in a tight yoga position.... Or that the crotch becomes uncomfortable if the waistline rides up from the activity involved in yoga. Seems like I'm either pulling the pants up or tugging them down. I prefer a yoga pant that has a waistline that actually rests at my waist, not below it. I am 5ft 3in, and I found the pants a little long in length. I had hoped they might shrink when laundered, but they didn't. Unfortunately, they aren't offered in petite. They are very stretchy -- a good thing for yoga. I am keeping one of the two pair I purchased (laundered already), but am returning the other. Would really like to see the sport knit pants in this fabric and in a boot cut or slightly flared leg, Lands' End.

Horrible
Fit way too big. Long enough, but way too large in the waist. Two of me would fit in there! Sure, I'd read the other reviews, but I didn't listen. Should have!!
Back they went!

Just right for casual comfort
The fabric is lightweight and soft, but not flimsy. Nice and long, so they are acceptable (just) even to this 5'10" person for a quick run to the market (although not long enough for anything but flat shoes or sandals). Waist is generous without being saggy. A fabulous buy with a recent 25% discount offer. Wish there was a little pocket, but they compare very favorably with similar. more expensive pants offered elsewhere (if they're even available this year!).

Very comfortable
I love the boxy fit. Very slenderizing. I use them for everything but yoga. The waistband fits a little lower than the waist and are so comfortable. Retain their fit. Plan to purchase more.

Fantastic, will be ordering more colors
I read the other reviews and ordered size M. They fit almost perfectly. I have washed both pairs several times and they have retained their shape and if they shrunk any it was a fraction in the length and the colors have stayed true. These pants are SO soft and very comfortable. Originally purchases for travel last month for vacation. I love them so much I wear them to the office with a tunic lenght top or sweater. The fabric is light but with enough body they hang cleanly. I have long wished reviewers would share more, so I will....I am 5' 2' weigh 165 & what designers would call a curvy fit. My weight is balanced well all over. My waist is 35' & hips 42'. The M size skims just off my body with out being to tight, loose or binding. If you are a definite apple or pear shape you might consider going to a L so the pants are not to tight in the waist or hip area. The waist band is just the right size on my body shape. My inseam is 28 inches and these pants are about 3/4" to long (about 1 hem turn) for me unless I wear about a 1" heal. I can also wear them with a higher heal and they still are not to short. I usually wear a size 12 and would have ordered a L if I had not read all the reviews. Wish they came in more colors and a short length since I have to turn up the hem if I wear them with tennis shoes. They also work great for me during yoga class but that may be because at my height the waist band sits about 3/4" above my natural waist.

Most comfortable pants ever
I bought these pants to wear while on a 2 week driving vacation. They were so comfortable! I ended up wearing only these pants. They wash beautifully. I now own all the colors.

Great workout pant, not exactly a yoga pant
I would give this five sailboats except they aren't really yoga pants. Yoga pants typically have long waistbands so when you are inverted etc. , your pants do not ride down. These have a thick elastic waistband that I find comfortable but not at all like any of the other yoga pants I have bought or tried on. I like the thicker fabric than most yoga pants but not so thick that you are too sweaty in them. They have become my go-to pants for working out and seem reasonable enough to wear to run errands beforehand. Like many others say, they do run a bit large. However, I do not actually like wearing them for yoga because they don't have that long waist coverage I'm used to...if you were just going to do gentle yoga this might not be a problem.
