Women's 1-button Washable Wool Blazer
more fitted than expected, am looking for a traditional blazer that would dress up slacks and skirts
too "curvy" and cloth shinier than expected. Not my usual Lands' End experience. Did not return as I was on travel so donated it to my Thrift Shop. On the other hand LE the place to go for women's slacks/trousers with the new sizing!

Great looking and great fitting!
I wore this today to a job interview and felt very confident with my matching washable wool suit slacks. I did call customer service to find out exactly the length of the sleeves and how to measure. They were very nice and explained exactly how to measure, the result was a jacket delivered to my door that I could wear right away without having to take them to a tailor to adjust the sleeves.

Having wool in the title is deceiving
This fabric is very thin. Hold it up to a window and you can see through it and the lining! The buttons are an odd color and size and I guess were a good compromise if they couldn't find navy buttons. The construction is not bad and is the one redeeming factor. That and the fit are making me keep this blazer.

Why no smaller regular sizes?
The fabric and construction of this jacket is very nice. I wear a size 0 regular, so bought a blazer in petite 0 so it would fit in the shoulders and bust. Smaller sizes are not offered in regular. The jacket is shorter than I like and shaped to fit a "toad-like" torso as all petite sizes are, so I had to take in the mid-section. I would rather have a longer jacket that fits. I'm not a freak - the Canvas jackets in size 0 or 2 fit well, but I would like a few more conservative pieces for my work wardrobe. Please make sizes 0 and 2 in regular! My daughter would also like to buy classic blazers for work in regular size 0 but none are available.

The blazer is the perfect fit and looks nice
The blazer is a great value as it is washable wool.

Professional jacket, nice fit
Lands End suits are reliably well made. This is a great all-season suit that I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of.
I wish it was cut in a slightly less matronly way, but overall it fits nicely and looks professional. Hopefully Land's end will be adding to their suit offerings--maybe in a pinstripe? :)

Great quality professional suiting
I never thought about Lands End as a place to buy a professional suit but to my surprise, I found this washable blazer and matching skirt, in navy. It is a very dark navy blue and looks very sharp. The material and cut is good looking and this suit compares with professional suits I've bought at Pendleton's and Brooks Brothers. Especially good is that it's not cut too slim but it manages to avoid being boxy. I dont' know how they do that but I appreciate it. I intend to buy the set in black, as well. I wore the blue suit to a court appearance the other day.

Awesome traditional style blazer / suit jacket
This is an awesome, traditional style suit jacket is a lightweight tropical wool. Matched with the plain front washable wool comfort trousers, it reminds me of the suits I used to buy from Austin Reed. Fabulous!

Good - not great
I was really glad that I read the reviews on this before I bought it and that I got the larger of the two sizes that I was considering since I'm in between sizes. The fit still seemed a bit small but that's because the sleeves are skinny. It actually fits me perfectly across the shoulders. It just fits over my long sleeve oxford shirts. The spandex makes it have a little give which is nice so despite that skinny sleeves it doesn't feel really restrictive.
I like that it's lighter weight than my other blazer and doesn't have padded shoulders. It's also nice that it's washable so I'm more likely to wear it and not have to worry about having to get it cleaned like I do with my other one
It should be noted that the "pockets" are fake. It would have been nice to have a place to stash the car key without having to carry a purse.

Odd cut, very tight in arms
I've worn Lands End suits for years. This past year has been surprisingly strange in that all new products fit differently from past years. Same sizes ordered but either way to small or too large. This is an example. Ordered in my usual size and it was very tight in the arms and shoulders. Given that all of my older blazers still fit fine and I have not changed physically, I never know what size to order anymore.
