Women's Vanessa Whipstitch Venetian Shoes
Sorry but sizing is unbearable to deal with.
This is the first time in over fifteen years, maybe even more, that I have to review something as terrible. The shoe is beautiful but the sizing is a tragedy. I first purchased the 8, ok, a bit big but doable. Then I ordered a 7.5 W, these are larger, longer than the 8, must go back. Isn't a 7.5 W suppose to be shorter in length and wider in the overall shoe? Is it my perception that is wrong? Please feel free to explain. Thank you.

I have them in two colors and regret not buying more when they were available in my size. Hoping you will restock, please! Love how they are a bit more feminine than the Vivian flats, but more substantial than ballets - kind of a moderate best-of-both version. The whipstitching is very subtle and adds just the right touch of style. The photo does not do it justice. And it is TTS and comfortable - fits perfectly.

Classic and Understated
I've got these in tan and black - they're comfortable and give you that finished look. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Forest Green in this shoe and really like them except that there is a spot the size of a nickel on the toe of each shoe where the suede is worn off .... not sure how this occurred since the soles have no scuffing and they appear to have never been worn or tried on. The color is a nice lighter green & pretty. I normally wear a 7 or a 7 1/2 and the 7 seems to fit fine, maybe even a little snug. I probably could have worn the 7 1/2 better because my foot is not really slim.

Wish I could afford more!
Don't get me wrong...there are a couple of problems with this shoe. 1) the color is not as stated either in the name or photo. I got two pair of the green and they are a much lighter color, almost a moss green. This, luckily, worked out better for me than the forest would have. That said, I have had other items from Lands End where that wasn't the case. Times when I wanted a specific color to 'make' the outfit and the item was grossly misrepresented. I wish the catalog people would take their shots out to the warehouse and compare the photo with the actual color. I just ordered a Squall that lists this problem in many reviews. I hope it works in my favor with that items as well as these shoes.
2)Size...I originally ordered an 8 1/2 but couldn't even get my foot in it. I gave them to my daughter who has a narrow foot and she likes them. Next I ordered the same size in a Wide and after two wearings they fit great.
The good news is the quality of the materials and workmanship. They are fully lined and though the lining isn't leather, they seem to breath well. The suede cleans easily, too. I wore these out in a muddy horse pasture. When they fully dried, I brushed them and later sponged off the stains. They look nearly as good as new!

Really pretty shoe and dearly wanted it fit however it was the
widest and longest shoe (in my regular, forty year size) that I have
ever tried on!! Could not walk and keep it on my foot. It's a truly
nice looking shoe....so maybe you'll get lucky!

cute shoe but not for my foot
this is a really cute shoe. However, trying both a size 6.5 and a 7, both sizes were too wide in the heel area and slipped off. From reading the reviews of others, it seems like all these reviews are in conflict regarding the description for fit. If you are lucky enough to have the shape foot that these shoes would fit, you would have a nice stylish shoe. Unfortunately, I had to return both sizes

I wish this High Quality Well-Made Product came in extra wide width
I am not surprised by this product, although I had hoped for a different outcome. This sizing of this shoe is a little off, because a 9WW would fit me perfectly, I believe. Normally I wear anything between an 8.5WW to a 9W, to an occasional 10 regular width in some brands The 9W is a little snug across the ball of the foot, and a little long in the heel. It may work out yet, I plan to wear them on the carpet in the house before deciding. What prompted me to review it is the unfortunate color choice they've made with the Sweet Potato. It is quite vibrant, along the lines of Highway Centerline "Yellow", and is a lovely color in the suede material, but I found it to be Quite Noticable. If you don't want to call attention to your shoes, I would suggest another color. On the other hand, they will look Great with pants in the Dijon / Marigold color family, and might be fabulous with the right legs with the right color tights and skirt, or maybe even bare legs. Perhaps I'll try to get the Fawn in the right size instead. The shoe's arch support and nice padding may benefit some, but I need more than that. They are also quite flat, 1/2" heel only, and I prefer shoes with more shaping, which I sometimes get with a slightly higer heel.

Cute, comfy, runs long
Great color. Padding is good. Fit is a little big. I wear an 11 but a 10.5 would be a better fit. But they don't come in 10.5
