Women's True Slim Chino Pants
Love them, want more colors
Finally a pair of pants that fit those of us with a straight waist. Let's face it, those of us in the 40 years plus tend to add a little weight in the middle. Not all women are hour glass shaped. I am straighter in the waist with thin legs. And these pants make me feel great because they fit in the waist but also the legs! So often to accommodate my straight waist and less than flat tummy, I am forced to end up with huge pant legs. These pants let us have a great fit in both. And the quality is there too. I did buy one size down from what I usually have to buy.
Begging Lands End, please offer in Black, Navy, Grey, and Brown!

Good Quality, run a bit big.
Love the quality and they wash up really well. They do how every run a bit big and fit perfect when fresh out of the dryer but stretch out to be a bit too baggy by the end of day. I am typically a size 8 but next time will order a 6.

Not a good fit for me
I fail to understand why LE doesn't offer slim leg pants in anything but a Fit 1. Just because some of us are out of our 30s does not mean we're not still slim. I bought these after I read the reviews, even though I thought I would not like a Fit 1, and I should have gone with my gut. The fabric is nice and I LOVE the slim legs - very flattering - but the "waist" just ain't there. When I sat down in them you could see, ahem, the plumber look, if you get my drift. Plus, the "waist" area was too big anyway. I chose my usual size 8, and like the fact that I could choose my inseam, as I have long legs, but this is a really ridiculous looking style - like the pants were falling off of me. Guess 'cause they were! Had to return.

Such a wonderful fitting pant
I wear pants/jeans in a size 10, sometimes an 8 depending on the brand. Sometimes I'll get a size 12 to get a more comfortable fit in the rear, thighs and legs and then take it to the tailor for alterations. My waist is a 29.5, hips are 39 and I am 5 feet 4 inches tall. . Based on the reviews and the size chart and past experience with Lands End brand (pants run large - usually), I got these in a size 8 with a , 27 inseam in the Khaki color and they fit PEFECTLY! They are so flattering. I did not need to have them tailored which I usually have to do with all my dress pants/casual slacks or jeans. I came back to the site to order another pair in a different color.

Great fit with technical difficulties
I bought these last Fall 2013. I bought the wrought iron and whatever the khaki is called. I'm 5'2 and weigh 120. I'm kinda straight up and down. They fit perfectly. A lot of tailored pants give too much room in the hips (which I don't have) and these are just right.
I've worn them dressed up with flats or dressed down with sandals or flip flops. These really are everyday pants. They wear well over several wears. They don't get the really creased wrinkles from sitting. The material is great. They wash well. I never iron them. I wear them right out of the dryer.
BUT! My complaint is, when I ordered them I ordered four pair: a mint color, pink, wrought iron and the khaki. The mint wasn't a good color for me but really cute. The pink came with the hook closure broken so I returned them (Oh, how I wish I had exchanged them. They stopped making the pink!). The khakis and gray are awesome BUT the gray have come unhemmed at one ankle. So I'm down to one pair until I take those to have them repaired.
LANDSEND, please make more colors with a little more attention to the quality! I really want to wear these pants! Thank you!!!

DIdn't fit my body type
Nice pair of pants, heavier twill, but I just looked ridiculous in them. If you aren't hippy and have a high buttocks, leave these in the warehouse. I took them back to my local Sears store for a no-hassle return.

A little tight in the calves
I have muscular legs and they fit nice in the thighs, but they are tight in the calves. I wore them around the house for a couple hours, and they loosened up a little. I have a 30" inseam and had these hemmed at 26.5" for the ankle pant look. Unfortunately unless I have them hiked up past my naval they are long, but isn't the point of Fit 1 to wear them lower on your waist? I don't know if it's worth it to send them back and reorder at 26" inseam. I ordered the 12P and 14P and the 14P fit better thru the legs and a little loose in the waist, which can be cinched up with a belt.

good fit and great colours
I didn't think at my age that I could wear Fit 1. However, these pants fit like a dream - finally a leg that was not too wide! I am strongly considering getting another pair.
