Women's Thermaskin? Heat Boot-top Crop Pants
Pefect for Petites
I loved the cropped pants. I walk about a mile to work from the train and the pants work great under my work pants. I love the cropped version and a petite style is awesome. I'm only 5'1 so previous brands were bunched at the ankles I really hated that especially when trying to put boots over socks and jeans already this is a perfect fit. I will also wear them when I go skiing since i don't like my longjohns tucked into my ski boots. It was -7 yesterday and -8 today I came back online to buy a few more.

very warm great for cold weather walking
there work well in very cold weather which is why I bought them. Now I have the Medium for a size 8 frame and they are loose which I don't mind. they fit easily under my jeans even so. If you want a tight fit, go down a size.

Not recommended for out door use. Does not insulate.
Purchased to replace worn out L.E.silks which I wore every winter under pants/slacks/jeans. This polyester-type pant feels cool, not warm, even when worn out doors under jeans. . On scale of 0 to 5 for insulating properties, it scores a zero. Should not be labeled "thermo". Fit is fine, OK for indoor use only. Was this product ever tested ? Bought 2 pair, used one, am returning the unused product.

Its really nice material, but the small is too loose on me - I'm 5'5 and 120lbs and I usually take small (6-8) but this one feels more like a medium or large. Otherwise it is fine, the fabric is soft and smooth and elastic band is good. Length is just right for under pants.

I'm writing solely to review the sizing; I haven't yet had an opportunity to test these for warmth. I am 5'8" and 130 lbs and could tell from the size charts that I would be an XS. (This was unbelievable to me; there is no way I should be an XS. The skewed sizing makes this product inaccessible to a substantial portion of people!) I tried these bottoms on under very slim-fitting skinny jeans, and they fit fine underneath, but I would have preferred long bottoms instead of cropped. But given the skewed sizing, this style was my only option for long underwear bottoms from Lands' End; the other styles only go down to a S. Lands' End, please change your sizing and start offering XSs and smaller in more styles!

Just what I need
I like these pants a lot. They are thin and not bulky when you put on your regular pants on top. They are comfortable, keep me warm, and not like other brands of underwear that are too snug. I have three different colours. My observation was that there didn't seem to be consistency in the fit. My black pair fits me very well, no extra fabric. My mocha and white ones are looser, but I am not complaining, because I've never had long underwear that are so silky and comfortable.

These are the perfect weight to wear under jeans or dress slacks.
I love these! They fit me perfectly even though I'm only 5'3" and are very comfortable. Other brands of long underwear are too long for me and I don't like for it to show under my slacks when I sit down. The waist band does not roll or bunch up. My jeans and dress slacks slide over them easily. They are warm but light enough weight that I don't feel all "bundled up". I bought two pair - black and the cranberry color. I have already washed the black pair and they look just like they did when I took them out of the package. No pilling, etc. Great product and well worth the price. I've already recommended them to my friends.

Can wear indoors
I wanted something that wouldn't show from under my cropped pants, and these are great. Funny, the color's so pretty I wouldn't mind if they showed. I wore them inside and outside all Thanksgiving week in Chicago and I stayed comfortable all the time.

Useful winter under layer
I bought these to extend the wear period of my knit corduroy pants but realize now that they can also be worn under my fleece lined winter walking pants and whatever else may need supplemental warmth in the depths of winter (I don't care to struggle with pantyhose or thicker tights). My winter socks can be worn (probably underneath) to eliminate gaps. The waist is a little large, however there is no way it is going to fall down and it does provide a smooth area at the waist, not bunched up or uncomfortably tight as it might be with a regular elastic waist. Time will tell, but I think these will be a useful addition to my winter clothing options as long as they provide the additional level of warmth that I'm hoping for.

I have the full length thermaskins from last year - they are amazing! So I decided to order 2 more.
This year?s model was apparently designed to fit low on the hip. The waistband is way too large (keeps falling down, and I am not a skinny girl) while the cropped pant leg is way too narrow. I returned both.
After looking at the pictures online, I realized that this design is the same for the full length pant so I won?t even try those. (The ones that I have fit on the natural waistline and stay there - last year?s design is perfect.)
