Very loose
I wear both 8's and 10's from LE, so based on the reviews below I ordered an 8... but these are still one size too big. I'll re-order in 6 but wonder if they will then be as short as the bottoms I wish to cover...? If the coverage is there, I will use these a lot.
PS Two things that I think other reviewers may have nissed in the product description: 1) these are coverups not swim bottoms 2) they have a fold-over waist band.

Needs inner panty!
These shorts are nice, but they seriously need an inner panty of some kind. Most swim suits have a liner in the lower part, but this does not. The leg openings are quite loose. If you do anything at all active in them, you feel very exposed. Since I bought them for a swim exercise class, I don't think I'll be comfortable using them unless I wear a leotard underneath.

Very cute shorts, just order a size smaller.
Based on the other reviews I ordered the size 8 instead of my usual size 10. I'm 5'4, 140 pounds, and curvy. I like the way these shorts fit ! The look is cute and modest. A bikini or underwear layer is needed underneath because the material is thin. Bikini bottoms alone are too skimpy for me. These shorts are perfect. They make me feel comfortable in my swimsuit, not self conscious.

Horrible for some body types.
I sized down a size over the other swim bottoms, but not for cover-ups as they are usually looser. I usually buy a 12 in cover-ups and that's what I ordered in these. They were cute in back, and the roll top was fine, not too bulky, but if you don't have a tummy and you carry most of your girth in your backside, then stay away from these. Cute in back, but the front had so much loose fabric it looked like I had a crotch. Really nasty looking. The material is thin, but like I said, they looked fine from behind, and they would dry quickly, but make sure you have the right body type or don't bother. The other piece that gave me the same problem was the aqua terra high rise swim bottoms. Those were ugly in front also (saggy loose fabric, but fine in back). However, the swim mates high rise bottoms weren't too bad and I like the quality, but I kept one size larger in those than the cover-ups.

Like it
I like these shorts. They are comfortable but I am a little afraid to wear them in the water. They feel a little loose and I feel like they may fall off when they get wet. So far I have only worn them when I know I am not going to get into the water. They have a long inseam so they're a bit too baggy for me.
However, they are comfortable which is always very important to me.

great for a cover up
Love that you can wear over your swim suit. They are a little big, but comfortable and very light.

Very comfy. Love them.
Like these shorts so much I have 3 pairs! Very comfortable to this over your swimsuit and wear out and about. The fabric is nice and stretchy.

Comfortable and flattering
Even though they don't have an attached swim bottom underneath I still love these. They are comfortable, flattering and easy on and off. I haven't worn them in the water yet, just canoeing so far. I wore a separate pair of swim bottoms underneath and it worked well.

Great, But Size Down
I'm usually a 12, and I ordered a 10 (based on other reviews). Thank goodness I did - it fits just right. My only complaint is that I wish it offered a little tummy control. ;)

Needs some redesigning...
These shorts fit VERY big. The waist folds over, but they are still way too long in the rise, in my opinion - not for slim people, anyway. I like the idea of cover up shorts, and wanted to be able to swim in them too, over a bikini bottom, the way they were intended, but they are just too loose - I'm sure they would fall right off when getting out of the water. I would not recommend them for swimming in, but they are cute and comfortable for just wearing as sporty shorts.
