Women's Supima Pocket Cardigan Sweater - Print
Love it, but not at full price
As others have commented, the sweater is a light fabric and dyed on the surface only. Still, I loved the burgundy one from the moment I saw it in the catalog; it was just too expensive for my clothing budget. And, once I saw it in Sears, I found it WAY too expensive for its quality. Luckily for me I got it in Sears at a great late season markdown and I do love to wear it.... but with the weather this winter and a chilly office, I need a layering T under the buttondown I like to wear with it. I haven't had one of the Supima cardigans before (again, pricey) and now I know I am not missing that much, at least for what I think of as a "sweater". Maybe OK in warmer weather. As another plus though, the supima is very soft and smooth as expected.

Love this sweater. Elegant, comfortable and dresses up whatever it is teamed with. Plan on getting another a different pattern.

Although I love the print the quality is poor. The cuffs and bottom band are too stretchy and the fabric will likely lose its shape. The fabric is cheap looking and thin. Bummer! It going back.

I was crazy about the color and pattern of this sweater, from the moment I saw it online, but was very disappointed, when I tried it on. The body was tight, while the neck area overlaped about 6". I am returning it. The lack of consistency in sizing and fit is a real problem.

Poor quality for price.
Essentially put together okay. Fabric was thin and the back of the fabric was white, which looked tacky.

Problem with print
Everything about this sweater is perfect except where the shoulder seam joins-both edges are a faded pink instead of cranberry. Decided not to reorder.

Lovely, classy and versatile
The medium sized sweater fits my 34DDD figure and looks lovely open or with the top button fastened. The subtle but handsome print, combined with the burgundy trim at cuffs, neck and placket, make it truly classy. I bought it with a blue herringbone twill blouse to wear with navy slacks, and this combination is great. But it also works well with the "celestial blue" pocket sheath dress, turning a spring/summer dress into an attractive ensemble for fall and winter. It's lightweight, but just warm enough for me. The pockets on the sweater are not terribly functional, but you could put a key, kleenex or credit card in them. Overall, one of the nicest sweaters I've ever purchased.

Print is printed on sweater, the yarn is not dyed
Although the sweater fit, the print had been stamp-printed on the sweater. The yarn should have been dyed and the image woven into the sweater; the manufacturing process made it look cheap because when the sweater was pulled from natural body movement, the white background showed. Ugh. Not the old Lands End quality. I would prefer to pay a bit more and go back to a higher quality.

Very nice sweater (purchased at Sears). Good length, cut and nice autumn colors. I enjoy wearing it.
