Warm, comfortable slipper with secure footing
I ordered these in dark pecan. Right out of the box they fit really well (I wear size 10 wide shoes). The inside of the slipper has a comfortable fleece bed with flannel sides-- I like that. Some slippers feel too squishy and your footing doesn't feel secure. The bottom of the slipper is rubber so, once again, I don't feel like I'm going to go sliding around. The ties in the front haven't been a problem and neither has the stitching. It's a slipper that I'm going to wear around the house so I'm keeping my expectations realistic. If you want something that keeps your feet warm, feels soft when you slide your foot into it and allows you to walk around without fear of slipping then order these!

Why the bad rap?
I read all the reviews and bought these anyway. My last pair of LE slippers just died after 5yrs of wear and I really liked the new style here and the huckleberry color. I took the advice on sizing provided with the item description to size down and I got the 7 not my usual 7.5. They fit perfectly. They are so comfortable and I love the rubber outsole and faux fur insole with flannel sides, not too fluffy, just right, just like my old pair. I've worn these non-stop for three weeks both in and out of the house and no issues except the darn laces come undone. No matter, they don't affect the fit. I just double knotted them and voila! Perfect slippers. I'm going to order another pair in red. Very pleased. Would be a five star item if the laces stayed tied.

comfy moc slipper
Moc only comes in whole sizes and even though I wear a 7.5, I ordered 7. It fits fine and the moc is extremely comfortable whether you wear socks or not with the slipper. They seem to be made well and my first pair has held up all winter. I ordered a second pair. Colors are as depicted on the site. My only issue is a tiny one, the tassel does not stay tied unless you double-knot it.

I bought two pairs for myself and wish I had purchased more for gifts.
I wear a 7 1/2 and bought the size 7, perfect fit. Slipper reviews didn't reflect the great product that I found it to be.

My slippers stitching fell apart too! Back they go!!
Seemed nice when we got them. After just a few times wearing them the stitching started to unravel. I was going to return them for another pair, but after reading other reviews think I'll return them and shop elsewhere. That's too bad.

Looks good, very badly made.
I will join the chorus of women who got these for Christmas, liked them, wore them a few times, and the outside stitching has come undone. BUMMER. I didn't like that you couldn't tighten them from the beginning (the tie in front is fake), but they fit OK. Got a robe to match, but where will I find lavender slippers now? Real pain. These were not cheap. Add me to the list who thinks Lands End is going downhill.

Stitching is poor. Came apart immediately.
The stitching on the side came apart within a couple of days. I returned the pair and ordered a replacement. The stitching on the 2nd pair came apart immediately. I'm returning this pair as well. No replacement.

falling apart in 2 weeks
I usually don't have quality problems with Lands End but these slippers literally fell apart right after I received them. Fist the left which I took in for repair - 5.50 to restitch the top and then 3 weeks later the right one started coming apart. And one is large than the other.

these slippers are of poor quality.
within 2 weeks of purchasing these slippers, the stitching unraveled. Lately, I have had problems with poor quality in Land's End items. I would not recommend these to anyone.
