Women's Stripe Welt Pocket Sheath Dress
Another beautiful dress
I ordered this one and one in a solid colour. This dress will cross over the seasons well. It is high quality fabric, with the stripes matched with great care. The length is good as it's a jazzy dress (even for a 50 something like me) but is 2 inches shortly than it's solid, coloured counterpart. I am 5 ft 5 inches. Fits a busty gal well too. :-)

My Second Version Of This Dress
As with my first purchase of this dress (in a different color pattern), I am pleased with the quality and fit of this dress. I wear it with a jacket in a coordinating color, and I'm ready for church, an evening out to a restaurant, the symphony, etc. The sizing of the dress is spot-on, the knit fabric is comfortable, and the price is quite affordable.

This is significantly shorter than it looks and shorter than other pocket sheath dresses I gave purchased from Lands End in the same size.
I am having it taken up in the shoulders...armholes too large.

Fits and looks Great!
this dress fits perfect for my size. I'm overweight and this dress is very flattering. The navy and green is gorgeous. Love the material. Put a sweater with it and will work well in cooler weather too.

Terrific dress and so flattering!
I was concerned that the stripes would not be flattering for my plus-size body, but this dress is actually very flattering. It's a beautiful fabric (I got the green with navy stripe dress), and well made. There's just a minor issue with how the dress drapes in the area of the lower back, otherwise I would have rated this 5 sailboats.

Great concept, poor cut. Tall is not actually Tall.
This dress is excellent all around from choice of material to design elements. However, making a dress for taller women is not just adding an inch at the hemline. The proportions are so off. I would have expected that LandsEnd would have figured this out by now. The fact that the dress just happen to be excellent all around makes it even more disappointing that this is not really made for taller women

Got this dress in the brown/black stripe and it was love at first sight. Such a flattering pattern, stripes are matched perfectly at the seamlines, cute and striking. Size 10 fit me perfectly right out of the box. I'm 5'4", 145 lbs. However, I am disappointed that it shrank when I washed it (therefore my "fits small" reivew) and I always use cold water, gentle cycle, and line dry my things. It's not awful but it fits less well than it did -- a little tighter in the hip area than I would like, and I think it shrank a tiny bit in length too. So I love it a little less than I did at first, but it's still wearable. Have been wearing it sleeveless during October, which has been warm. Added black tights this past week and it will also look adorable with a black cardigan or a turtleneck during the winter. Lands End -- The floral sheath dress I bought for the summer didn't shrink. Wish this one hadn't either!

I was very pleased with the fit and cut of this dress. The knit is excellent quality and heavy enough that I will wear it this winter with a blouse. A great buy!

i have this dress in a number of colors. By far, my favorite is this stripe welt version.
I love the pocket sheath dress. It is flattering and comfortable and has usable pockets. I am an event planner and I need to look professional, be comfortable and have access to my phone. The stripe welt is extremely flattering. My only complaint about earlier versions of this dress is that the facing at the neck has a tendency to rise up. Not on the stripe welt version - either it is sewn a bit differently or the fabric keeps it flat. Regardless, this is my favorite dress.

Works for me
I never EVER wear anything with horizontal stripes across the bust--just too well endowed for a design that emphasizes that area--but I absolutely love black mixed with rust brown, and I caught my breath at seeing this dress in the catalog. So I thought I would give it a try even if that meant trying it on and sending it right back.
I took the advice to go up one size, and ordered a 20W instead of my usual 18W. The result fits me well, except the neckline lays a little weirdly rather than smooth and flat. A faint outline of the pockets can be seen too, and I probably wouldn't put anything in them, but a long, drapey black cardigan takes care of that. My husband doesn't usually notice what I wear but did say "Wow" when I put this on to take him out to a nice dinner for his birthday.
