Women's Starfish Refined Stretch Pants
brown heather pants
I forgot to mention in my last review that the brown heather color has the old cut--no hip bulges. Right now the pants fit me well, but I'll have to see if they shrink in length in the dryer. I take a 30" inseam and decided to try ordering petite even though the petite inseam is listed as 28.5".
About the color, I like the shade of brown but don't like heathering. I'm hoping I'll be able to make them solid by dyeing them.

I ordered these pants in a size L as I am normally a 14-16. They fit well, perhaps a smidge on the large size. They are so comfortable! However they are definitely a casual pant...much more casual than I was expecting. But as a stay at home mum, these will work perfectly.

My retirement uniform!
I love these pants and have several pairs in black and navy. Now that I am no longer working, I wear these pants almost every day. They are comfortable and well fitting. My only complaint is that it is difficult to tell the navy from the black. The color in the black pants doesn't hold up in washing. After two washings they are no longer that crisp dark black color. But, I'm retired so I can wear what I want and comfort wins every time.

Tight in the Thigh in Plus Sizes
I wanted to write this review to comment on the fit of these pants. There are a lot of great reviews for the pants. I however found these pants to be very tight in the thigh in the plus sizes. The waist, butt, abdomen fit well. The thigh down to the knee is very tight - the cut is similar to a legging. I don't want a legging. I want a pant. The cut below the knee is similar to a boot cut pant - but even here they really skim the leg. These don't work for me.

I now have three pairs of these pants because the first pair was so great. Yes, they are a little large in the waist (I bought a small and usually wear a 6), but I usually don't tuck my tops in, so it just means they're even more comfy to wear all day. They're wonderful for travel also. They don't get baggy, and they have more substance for cold weather travel compared to the Chico-type traveler knits. I did find that the lengths are different according to the country of manufacture. I bought brown first, in petite, and they were too short. I'm 5'2-1/2". I exchanged those for regular length which was perfect. I then got a pair in navy and ordered regulars. They were too long so were exchanged for petites. My last purchase was black. I ordered petite length, and they were perfect. When I checked the labels, the black and navy were made in one country; the brown in another. I wear these on week-ends with casual tee's and sneakers or oxfords. During the week, I'll switch to leather wedges or heels and top the pants off with a nice blouse and cardigan, and I'm fine for the office. These are the best all around comfortable pants I've ever worn. The cut is definitely dressier than most knit pants, and the look is therefore more refined. I don't think you can go wrong with these.

Comfy, but for exercise or at-home wear only
These pants are very comfortable and great for lounging around the house or going for a walk to exercise. However, I would not wear them to work or to even run errands--they are far too casual for that (and I don't really wear very formal clothes to begin with). They remind me of sweatpants or yoga pants: super comfortable, but not as "refined" as I assumed based on some of the other reviews. So I would say they are the perfect choice for women who are looking to change into a comfortable outfit after returning from work.

Do NOT run large compared to other LE knit pants - don't be fooled!
The pants are a nice fabric and fit/sit well. At least they will when I get the proper size. I read a lot of reviews here that indicated that this pant "runs large" and that one should size down when ordering. Perhaps they are more generously sized in comparison to other companies' offerings, but these do not in fact run large in comparison to the LE Sport Knit pants or Sport Knit cords. I am currently wearing a pair of 2x Sport Knit Cords that are a bit on the roomy side of fitting well, but the recently-arrived pair of Starfish pants in the same size are more like a second skin! So - plus-size ladies beware of the well-meaning advice in other reviews; you may not want to size down after all!

Very comfortable, shape enhancing pants. I would highly recommend them.
I absolutely love these pants. The wide waist band is very comfortable and the style compliments my curvy shape. (I have a pear shaped figure.) I purchased one pair and had to exchange them for a smaller size. But they were so comfortable, I then purchased 2 and I am about to order another pair. I recently went on vacation and wore the pants on my 6 hour flight and 2 hour drive to my destination. The pants still looked great (no sagging at all) and as comfortable as when I first slipped them on. Honestly, if more colors were available I would purchase one in every color.

The perfect dress casual pant
As a short (5'4") plus sized (3X) women, it's often hard to find comfortable fitting pants that look good and aren't too long. These are truly the perfect pant. They keep you decently warm in the winter and are lightweight enough to wear into warmer weather seasons. The petite plus length is perfect. And the small zipper pocket is great for stashing an ID or a phone in a hurry. I've worn these to lounge around the house or to wear to work. I've bought these in 4 different colors now and haven't been disappointed. I would highly recommend.

Fit is nice but the quality is low
I loved these pants when I got them but I found a whole in the inseam after the first wash. What a disappointment.
