Here in Wisconsin, winter doesn’t slow us down. In fact, when the first snowfall hits, we’re just getting started. Inspired by our love of the game, our Stadium Squall® has been a trusted companion for many seasons. And whether you’re sitting in the stands or just live in a winter wonderland, you’ll quickly appreciate all it has to offer. Like the rest of the Squall family, it’s designed to take on the harshest forecasts with a waterproof, windproof shell, cozy fleece lining, adjustable hood, even a storm flap to help block out the elements. (And for you diehard fans, its longer length, plus 150-gram insulation puts plenty of protection between you and those cold stadium benches.) Our coat has lots of comforts too, such as soft fleece inside the collar and pockets, adjustable cuffs with interior rib-knit cuffs and a chinguard to prevent nips. Drawcord waist helps block cold. Pockets include two at the waist with dual-side entry, one at the chest, plus one inside. Bottom half is lined with 100% nylon. Machine wash. Imported.

Great coat, great international service After reading the reviews I ordered this coat in a size larger than my usual, figuring that if it arrived in Australia too big at least I could still wear it. To my dismay, the size that came was enormous and looked horrible (I am a long and lanky build). The customer service I received was excellent. I was able to return the coat to an address in Australia and the shipping on the return item was waived. My smaller coat arrived today and is a great fit, though it still looks bulky. The waist adjustment only alters the internal fitting, it does not change the appearance from the outside. A belt would make the coat appear more shapely. Unlike other reviewers, I do not find the pockets awkward. The length is great for walking in a cold wind and the coat is lightweight, very comfortable and cosy. Thank you Lands End... I am a very happy international customer! April 7, 2013
Coat design changed with pockets above waist I have purchased 2 coats when the pockets were included above the waist. I returned the newest design which did not have the pockets above the waist with much disappointment. The coat is nice and provided just the amount of warmth I was looking for in a coat, but I felt for the cost of the coat I couldn’t justify keeping the coat. I hope the designer will include the pockets in the future as I would definitely purchase again. February 24, 2013
Color right, comfortable and warm. Love this coat. I think it is prob good for hurricane wind resistance and warm enough to 10 as a safe temp. I wore it in wind yesterday and not chill from the bitter chilly wind but at 16 degrees out I was a little chilly. I did not have a wool sweater on though, just a ls t-shirt and cords. I am also a size 10 and this is a 3x and wasnt overly large. Love it. Warm and the line gives room where necessary without bulk. It is also a lightweight coat for carrying and this is helpful when doing errands. The color is great too. A golden brown which I love. Graet product with lots of nice engineering such as big zipper thats easy to use and lots of big interior pockets as well as big exterior pockets for gloves and rest of stuff we always need. Thanks Lands End for a nice companion to winter. February 22, 2013
Fantastic Coat Having just survived the 2013 Blizzard in New England, I can honestly say that this coat is truly waterproof and warm. I have had two prior squall stadium coats and loved them, but they were not waterproof. I was in and out of this storm, shook of my coat and could go back out 15 minutes later knowing that I would I would stay dry and warm. The knit sleeves are a great bonus, love the double zipper and the hood stays in place while shoveling. I would not hesitate to purchase this coat again. February 11, 2013
Not nearly as warm as listed No way is this coat warm to -30F, unless you perhaps wear 5 sweaters under it with long johns to boot. January 16, 2013
Nice coat but could be so much better I owned an older Stadium Squall coat for a number of years. It finally started to wear out so I decided it was time to replace it. Since I loved my coat I decided to replace it with the same thing, only it is not. First the good - the new one is rainproof, the older one was only rain resistant. For some reason they decided to take away pockets. This is bad. The hand pockets above the waist were removed. So you no longer can put your hands in any pocket when you are sitting in a Stadium as the location of the new pockets are below the waist and can not be used when seated. This makes the coat somewhat useless for football games. They seemed to take away about half the pockets which just seems to be not a good direction. I will keep the coat but it is just not a useful as the older style which really is to bad. January 15, 2013
finally a stadium squall with a flattering fit! I love it! I'm pretty slender and I like a coat that makes me feel warm but isn't shapeless. This stadium fits as it should; those of us used to the bulky paper bag fit of the stadium squalls of the past risk judging in comparison, but this coat is true to size, just fits closer to the body and offers more style than the older models. I for one am overjoyed! My old stadium squall never gets worn as I just dont feel remotely feminine or attractive in it, even though it looks good on the hanger and is admittedly well made, comfy and warm. When I read these reviews, I asked for one as a Christmas present- encouraged by the modern fit which was expressed as a complaint by so many other reviewers. If you have been put off by the stadium squalls of the past, give this one a try! I think it keeps the best features of the older model and updates the coat with some slimmer lines and more shape. Finally a stadium squall you dont have to hide out in, literally and metaphorically! January 14, 2013
Very practical for New England -- cozy, waterproof -- and the berry color is beautiful. I purchased this coat on the advice of two friends who've had their squall coats for years and rave about them. The petite medium was a bit snug, and the petite large was larger than I expected, but I opted to keep it to accommodate layered clothing. The zipper sometimes requires more than one try; the velcro at the hemline has a mind of its own (maybe snaps would be better?); and I find the neckline a bit odd, but I all in all it's a winner. The true test:: I received the coat just as the temperature was plunging to single digits, and it kept me very comfortable! January 13, 2013
sizing I hve 3 other squall coats purchased over the last few years. Two of them are the same size as the one I ordered. They fit perfectly. This one was too small so it was returned. The one benefit to this squall coat was the ribbed cuff inside, which my other coats don't have. January 6, 2013
...and one for my friend! I bought this squall for myself and once the weather turned cold and I noticed a family friend was struggling with layering to keep warm, I knew what my gift for the season would be for her. It's a snug fitting coat, so you don't need to bother with sweaters. I wear a thermal shirt and tees and have no problems with the NY cold. I've noticed our friend is wearing hers every time we getter together. January 6, 2013
