Women's Squall Snow Pants
Great cold weather gear!
Despite all the other reviewers, I think these are awesome snow pants. I needed something waterproof, toasty warm, and big enough to slip over all my other clothes in the Minnesota cold. I use these are chore pants when tending to our cattle. These kept me warm even during the terrible blizzards last winter. I am grateful to have found these. Yes, they are a big roomy, but I need the room to move and wear other layers. 5 stars! Now to find boots and gloves to keep me warm during January calving.

Regular length pants are too short for taller women
Having read the reviews on these pants, I ordered a Medium Regular length and a Medium Tall length for my 15 year old daughter who is around 5'9". She didn't even bother trying on the regular length pants all the way because she could tell before she'd even pulled them all the way up to her waist that they were too short. The tall fit well...just perfectly. For women who are even taller than 5'9"...I'm not sure if even the Tall length would be long enough. The width of the the pant legs is a little wide...but they don't look like clown pants. My teen didn't complain about the pant leg width (and I didn't ask) :) These will work well for skiing, sledding or playing around in the snow.

Seemed to offer good movability (untested however)
Only give a Good rating because I couldn't test them in action or test the warmth, otherwise it would be a 5-boat rating.
I returned these only because they were too short for me. But, I always need at least a 34 inseem for pants, and the ski pants do not come in talls. I gave it a hopeful shot though. So, these are true to size and length for average height women. The underneath boot cover part I also found to be on the short side. I've only ever owned 1 pair of ski pants before (and I'm not a frequent skier) so I don't know if this is fine/typical for ski pants. But, since my quest is always for longer than average pants these were average length.
I also walked around in them, lifting my legs high, squats, whatever, to get an idea of how they'd let me move. I thought it was pretty good. I tried my old (non LE) ski pants and they seemed stiffer. But, my old ski pants at least had the boot cover part longer than the LE ski pants.
And! I was sad that I returned them for the fact that they made me look really slim!

nice pants if you are under 5'6"
I think the pants are well made and overall nice. However, they are too short for me. I am 5'6" with longer legs and a slightly shorter upper body. My ankles are exposed. This is not ideal when walking through snow. If you are shorter than me it might be perfect for you.

They are doing too much editing in the photos, especially for these snow pants. There is no way these pants are as slim on these models as they appear in the pictures. They fit big overall (in the waist) but the legs are HUGE. Each leg is nearly as wide as the waist, and it's a straight fit from the thigh down. I can't imagine anyone keeping these. I'd rather take a chance on splitting the zipper in my old pair (another brand), that unfortunately have become too small, than to use these.

Kept me warm
I purchased the petite squall snow pants and they were a perfict fit all the way around. I just wish that they were not so wide at the bottom; I looked a little bulky. They kept me dry and warm when I needed to be, so I'll put up with bulky to have a perfect length.

The only thing petite about the squall pants is the length
I ordered a small petite. The legs are a uniform 11 inches wide top to bottom. That's way too much bulk for walking. I tried them on over my jeans (I usually wear 6-8 petite) and could put my fist in at the waist. Seems like the model for these pants was taken from a much larger size and just shortened. I'm returning them.

So excited to get these with the Cyber Monday deal! Have been wanting them since freezing last winter. I'm 5'7", size 14 jeans, and wasn't sure what size to get after reading reviews. The Large fits perfectly over my jeans, right out of the box, though I see they are adjustable. Since my whole family strips off wet clothes in the laundry room after sledding this is exactly what I wanted - not too tight to wear pants under them. Only wish they offered them in "fun" colors.
