Women's Squall Snow Pants
Slightly big but very comfortable
Was a bit worried about buy these as I had seen reviews that they were quite big but I ordered my regular size anyway. Very quick shipping all the way to Australia. The pants are slightly big but they're fine once you adjust the elastic. They are quite long but that is good for me as I prefer to have longer pants. They feel very comfortable & keep very warm. Quite surprised by how much I really like them!

Glad LE has Talls
Since I am 5'10" I ordered these pants in a Tall. Finally, a snow pant that fits over my snow boots and ski boots without looking too short! I'm normally about 150lbs and my normal measurements fit the M10 range on the LE site. Because I am currently pregnant, I was delighted to read that this pant has an inside elastic tab, and I purchased my normal size of MT. The fit is good now (I'm not showing too much yet) and will still fit great when I get back to my normal size. On a ski trip to Colorado last week, I was able to it let out the tabs to accommodate my growing waistline, and I skied very comfortably at 18 weeks pregnant. (Though I did have to unbutton the pant on the lifts toward the end of each day!) Also, the pants were very warm. In fact, our first day of skiing was pretty warm, so I didn't wear tights underneath; and until I took off my coat, I thought I was going to overheat! The next day we skied in a blizzard with temps ranging from 10-28 degrees throughout the day. I felt extremely warm and dry with tights and wool socks underneath these pants.
As other reviewers noted, the pants do not fit quite as slim as they look on the model. But the difference for me was not a lot, and I actually prefer the slightly looser fit because it gives me plenty of room to ski comfortably and also to play outside with my children in the snow. Overall, these are a quality snow pant, and buying them on sale with free shipping was an added bonus!

here is a book you don't go by its cover
I gave one rating because I could not give any lower. I cannot believe how misguiding the picture is. These pants are nowhere as slim as they appear on the picture. My daughter wears 4-6, so I bought Small. I easily fit in them with lots of room still, and I wear 8-10. Ridiculous. Also, huge ankles, these pants are built for snowboarders only, however it was not indicated. Lands End seems to have its own sizing, there is no other company I go so wrong with size. And, I shop a lot online. Other than its swimwear I have had constant disappointments.

Can't go wrong!
Just received these pants and can't wait to get a chance to wear them. I may have to wait until next year but I'm now ready for any snow or rain storm. I agree with other reviewer that pants run a little large which I'm happy with since I usually wear an XL but got the L and fits perfect. Thanks again, Lands End. Please keep your good quality, great prices and great styles coming.

Not too bulky
I ordered an XL which were way too big, even with adjusting with the velcro straps. The quality was fantastic and they weren't too heavy or bulky. The petite were the perfect length too. I did return the XL but have reordered them in a L.

Keeps you very warm and dry.
Even though the legs are a bit too wide, these snow pants do an excellent job of protecting you. In weather that was minus 20 I was quite toasty.

Comfortable fit, warm
These fit very well and are comfortable to move around and be active in. Yes, the leg opening is somewhat wide, but I find that useful so I can pull them over my snow boots. They are not excessively wide and don't get in the way of walking. They are a great petite length!

I live in Buffalo...I am an outdoor educator...you would think that would mean by now I'd have a great pair of snow pants, and yet every winter there I am layering as many pairs of pants as I can under rain pants to stay warm and still be waterproof. Finally decided during a 30% deal to purchase these pants. As with every piece of Lands End outerwear my family has, I am VERY pleased with this product! Have only worn them once, this morning, but was outside for over 2 hours in very windy snowy conditions, kneeling repeatedly in the snow. I was concerned that I would be cold but thought I'd try them first with just jeans on underneath. Not once did I get cold and the pants were not even damp when I came inside. Would highly recommend these to anyone. Also, unlike pants I have tried to purchase in the past I feel like these run true to size.
