Women's Squall Parka
Perfect with pants and cold weather
Nice warm parka with plenty of pockets. Fits well and is a lovely dark purple. I especially like that it can zip up high to block wind from getting in at the neck.

This jacket is great for blustery coastal conditions.
Great quality parka. Warm and totally waterproof. We live in a coastal area, and It is great protection from the elements. Fits well, and enough room for layers too. Bought one for my daughter as well.

I really like how well this Squall Parka fits true to size, the fabric and how well it is made. The only fault that I can find with my new parka compared to my older Land's End Squall Parka is the stiffness of the collar. I can not wear it zipped all the way up, because the top of the zipper is stiff and sticks me in the neck under my chin. I also do not like the rigging in the hood. I like the quality and fit of my new parka, but prefer the hood and the softer collar on my 12 year old squall parka. Love the parka as a whole, will just wear a scarf around my neck and will be set to go on those cold winter days.

Great coat for the unpredictable weather in Chicago!
I ordered the petite XL and the fit was perfect. I had been waiting all season to purchase this item just praying that there would still be one in my size. Well, I hit the jacket and I've never been happier. I will agree with others that have said the neck can be a little bulky but in time it will relax and sit much better.

Warm but very bulky
I ordered this coat to replace a winter jacket I had that had a similar look. The coat is very warm and cozy, but I found it to be so bulky that it was uncomfortable to drive in and to move around in, for example - shoveling show. The coat does not look bulky in the photo, but it was. I couldn't see over the hood when trying to see out the back window of the car. Had to remove that right away. I ended up donating it to a coat drive, it was practically new! (i don't return stuff)

awesome warm coat
A friend had this coat and recommended it. I found it this past Feb. at a local Sears store in an XS and S in a cobalt blue on sale with additional discounts. I bought the Small to allow room for extra bulk in my clothing. I am always cold and this coat has kept me warm in our brutal MO. weather this past winter. I do sometimes have to jiggle the double zipper and wish the pockets were a little deeper but as for warmth, this coat does the trick!
It goes beyond my derrière which helps with the cold also.
This keeps out the wind and the cold without a lot of bulk- easy to move while wearing the coat as well.

breathes well, keeps you dry
With so much snow and chilly temps this winter, I was in dire need of a parka. The coat breathes nicely, so it works well for shoveling. Definitely keeps you dry, but it's not as warm as it looks. I'd need a heavy sweater underneath to stay outside for any length of time under 25 degrees. It fits wonderfully...while standing. It could use a bit more flare at the bottom to be comfortable sitting. However, since there are two zippers, I just unzip the bottom before hopping in the car.

Very warm and comfortable
This is my second Lands End Squall jacket. I bought the first one about 14 years ago and I am still wearing it! This jacket is warm and comfortable and I love the red color!

This is my second squall parka. The first one I wore for 10 years. I got my new coat just in time for soccer season sitting on the sidelines in cold wind and rain. I was very warm and comfortable.

Love the lightweight feel but very warm
Only drawback is the outside side pockets. Too far back and useless
