Women's Petite Solid Ruffle Front Georgette Dress
very poor quality
The top layer of the dress is beautiful but the bottom layer is terrible. The bottom layer is just this cheap poorly put together thing that doesn't fit my body or any part of any woman's body. Terrible, just terrible.

Very pretty dress
I just got this dress a few day ago in a dark green, it is flattering and looks absolutely gorgeous.

I love this dress! It's great for a more formal meeting or a party! I have more of an hourglass shape, and this dress makes me look tiny! I feel great whenever I wear it. What a bargain.

I was only able to wear this dress twice, so I was happy I bought it on clearance. The fabric ripped away from the seam and wasn't able to sew it back together. The dress was a bit big on me, so it wasn't that it stretched. Not sure. This is not the quality I"m used to with Land's End.

Perfect for summer and fall
This dress is beautiful - simple, yet elegant. I bought it on a whim in Pine, since it was such a great deal, and have since worn it to two summer and fall weddings. The dress floats perfectly over the matching slip with a quick spritz of Static Guard and the fabric has worn well, even when packed into a suitcase. I'm so glad to have this versatile dress and was devastated when they were sold out in my size in the other colors!

Not sure why this dress does not have a 4 or 5 star. Just bought dress, fits well and is lovely. I do think that the orginal price is very high and bought it on sale. Great dress to have for any occassion!

Better than the reviews predicted!!
I received this dress in the mail today (in pine), not knowing what to expect because the reviews hadn't been all that positive. But the dress is gorgeous on. What reviewers are talking about is elastic gathering at the waistline on either side of your natural waist to have the gathers be there rather than in the front or back of the dress; I imagine so the dress lays better over our stomachs and bums. I have a pear shape body so this could've been bad for me to have gathering in that side location, but it wasn't, it looks fine. The belt covers up the elastic gathers, so you just see the pretty draping. This is a wonderful dress, I have to say; I'm so glad I decided to order it after all. For reference, I am 5'6", weigh about 150 (give or take) and am generally a size 8-10. I ordered a size 10 in this because I'm wearing it for an event just after Christmas, so this leaves a little spare room for Christmas cookie indulgence.

Beautiful, although a little short
I am 5'6", 180lbs, D-cup, quite curvy, and I LOVE this dress.
While I usually order 16/XL to fit my middle, Lands' End dresses seem to run big, so I got size 14. The "billowy" effect from the elastic waist helps cover any extra curves, by skimming your silhouette, rather than hugging or clinging, but without adding bulk.
The ruffles are feminine, as are the lovely sleeves. I love that the matching slip comes with it.
The waist is kind of high--but it sits right at my slimmest point, above my belly button, and right under my ribcage.
I purchased both the green and the Aubergine Plum Print, and have received compliments from many friends, who didn't even recognize that it was the same dress!
My only complaint is that it was a little short--a couple of inches above my knee (not as seen in the picture), which meant that when I sat down, it went up further (there is no stretch, and I fill the back side rather well).
However, I love to go swing dancing in it. And the sleeves are perfect for when my under arms are less than presentable.

Love it. It's the right mix of pretty and polished. An afternoon wedding kind of dress. I'm bustier than the model in the photo, and still find it very flattering.

I love the green color and the matching slip but the sleeves are too tight so I will be returning it...The picture shows the sleeves being loose fitting but they are capped and fit snug....
