Rated 5 out of 5 by Buttondownacademic Perfect length
The style is attractive -- makes a nice change from the A-line skirts I usually wear. Best of all, it is long enough to give the look I prefer -- modest coverage for my very long legs. The fabric is substantial but not heavy. I'm very glad to have this skirt, both for work and for semi-dressy occasions. I used to rely on Lands' End for long skirts, and the selection has gotten disappointingly limited in recent years, so I'm even more happy to find this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Caylee Awesome skirt
I sized down to a 6 (I have a 30" waist) and it fit perfectly! It's also really flattering, as it hugs the hips and doesn't flare out too much.
This skirt hit mid-calf for me, but I'm 6'1"! So unless you're an amazon like me, you should note that it is more of an ankle-length skirt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by CarolainLarkspur It's too long
The skirt is nice but it is too long, I don't think that kind of skirt has to arrive to your ankles and I am 5 feet 5 inches, so I am not that short, it is just the skirt that is too long for my taste.

Rated 1 out of 5 by EngineerGal Diminished quality, cut, fabric.
This is the third time I have purchased this skirt. The first two (in black and blue) were a larger size, purchased about 15 months ago. The present smaller-sized skirt, in black, was poorly constructed, the fabric has changed and the overall quality of the product has diminished. It arrived in terrible (crushed) condition. I returned it and if this sample is indicative of the quality of these pleated dress skirts, then I can't recommend it. I've decided to have my beautifully constructed larger skirt altered to fit. Lands End can make a LOT of money off of these skirts, if they return quality control to it's former level, if they adjust the sizing to remain true-to-size, rather than oversize them for heavier women, and if they expand the colors available.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MariePavie Size two sizes down. It's 34 inches long
I should wear a 6, but because of the reviews, I ordered a size two. The two is still alittle loose on my 29 inch waist, but I can move the button over some. The Navy is a true nice color. The fabric is nice poly/rayon
with good weight, feel and drape. The total lenght from the top of the 1.5 inch wide waist is 34 inches. It is about 4 inches above my ankle (5'4"). This skirt pattern matches my old AUSTIN REED wool gab. perfectly except the size should be an 8 to match the Austin Reed. I will keep this one and have ordered one in black. I wish that it was shorter, but the rest of it, color and fabric quality, is better than I can find in local department stores.

I really liked this skirt however it was too big and way too long. I did return it to the store and purchased the Star Fish gray skirt. This skirt is fabulous. Great with tights and boots. Very comfy

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pandy678 Too long but otherwise excellent.
I love this skirt. It was long almost down to my ankles! I am 5 feet 4 inches tall and I bought a size 2 which still had a roomy waist., but I like that "not so tight" feeling anyway. I was going to send the skirt back, but then decided to cut 5 and a half inches off the bottom and re-hem it. That worked and now it is perfect. At first I was not sure if I could steam out the pleats at the bottom to do this, but that turned out to be easy. This took some time to do, but was worth the effort. I just think that the description of the skirt should be changed as far as the length is concerned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LadyJennifer Does not fit according to size chart.
The skirt looks great and I was really excited about a return to styles that are flattering for people with curves, but this skirt doesn't quite follow the size chart. There is only a 6" difference between the waist and hips, so although, according to the size chart, I am just about a perfect 12, the waist was four inches too big and made the skirt hang funny. Normally, with a skirt of good quality like this one, I would take it to the tailor and have it sized for me but that would ruin the lines of the pleats.

Loved the skirt, but had to return because it was a tight in the waist.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beach42 Great skirt, but watch sizing
A great buy and very versatile, washes and wears well. As noted by other reviewers, though, watch sizing. This skirt runs big. Ordered a 4 (normally a 6) and it's still roomy but ok in the waist and long (which I wanted anyway).
