Women's Slouchy Linen Tee
I was surprised at how baggy a medium was; I wore it to work on a casual Friday but thought it looked a bit sloppy for the office.
However I have to say the blue colour looks fantastic with jeans,so it's become my bum around the house top.

I bought this on a close out sale and am glad to have it. I was looking for knit linen tops to wear under wool sweaters this winter. I love linen next to the skin; it's great for climate control. I don't think I would wear this on its own. The material is pretty flimsy and shows every lump and bump. I bought an assortment of knit linen tops from Lands End when they went onclearance and am happy with all of them but only for the purposes of wearing beneath sweaters or as pajamas. I threw them in the wash and they have changed substantially but I wasn't trying to be careful and follow directions because of my intended use. I think they would work just fine for people who like lightweight semi sheer tops. The cut is nice.

I so wanted to love this. I read the reviews about it looking sheer, and figured in the Pacific Coast color, that wouldn't be a problem...but it was. The shirt looked like it was a much beloved favorite that had been run through the wash so many times that it had become threadbare.
In terms of size, small worked well for my 5'7", 140 lb., 36C, muscular build with broad shoulders and narrow hips/waist. I really wanted to keep it, but even at the sale price, I couldn't see wearing it with my bra plainly showing through.

Looks cheap and feels scratchy
This just arrived today and it's going right back. I know linen is meant to be a crumpled look, but this particular fabric is very thin and already appears pilled. Cheapest possible linen, and scratchy against the skin as well. It's getting increasingly difficult to find quality items made from natural fabrics. Land's End used to be my go-to for such items, but the quality of this shirt is a major disappointment.

way too short
I do shop often at Lands end. That noted, this tee is extremely short in the silliest sort of way. The linen is ok, but would surely cling to any under-layering.

I got this in navy at the regular price and liked it so much that I went back for the shiraz. Lucky me, it's now at sale price. I love linen jersey (if you can call it that) because it's so much classier than cotton or synthetics. It has a sort of dry, clean feel, and it's more slubby and, yes, coarse. If you're not familiar with linen knit, it's possible that you won't like this. It's really not like cotton at all, but I love it. The fit is definitely slouchy, so if you want a closer fit, order down. The medium, my regular size, was perfect for me, and I didn't think it was "boxy." This tee is excellent alone or under something else, and it's good for winter or summer. In hot weather, linen is nice because it sort of stays away from your skin, unlike cotton, which clings when wet. It also dries super fast. I highly recommend this tee, especially at the sale price.
