Women's Slender Suit Scoopneck One Piece Swimsuit
This suit provides great upper body support for exercise.
I do aqua aerobics regularly at my gym. Once I discovered this suit, I have not bought any other suit. It provides the upper body support I need in the water to get the best work-out. I have purchased at least 10 of these suits in the last 3 years. The only problem I have is that the latest suit I bought has a thinner material. I hope it will last as long as the others have. (They will eventually succumb to the chlorinated water.)

While the general overall fit is fine - i'm rather disappointed that the openings for the legs is so tight. I'm a 16 size and all the measurements fit as per the charts, but the leg openings are so tight around my 'thigh/hip' joint that it's very very uncomfortable. I'd think that for this size this measurement or rather sizing would not be designed for the 'skinny legs' of a smaller person. Given that i've been through about 100 different suits (from a variety of different stores), have so very much trouble finding anything that fits at all (and that i like) and that this one is the best fitting overall, i'm going to keep it, but still disappointed.

This suit has pretty modest coverage, but didn't leave me feeling like a total prude. The ruching at the neckline is very flattering, and the underwires provide great support. I may take a tuck in the center front to make more of a sweetheart neckline. . . but either way, it's a cute suit, and the long torso actually stayed put over my tush.

Is Less Flattering - Why Change a Popular Product?
I wore the Carmela Slender Suit in 20DDD year round, several days a week for years. Now you have tweaked the style into a less well-fitting suit. It gapes on the sides of the bust and is lower in the seat and thighs. The back cross straps are similar and look and feel good, but even they are twisted in a new way for no apparent reason. Also I would like more color choices like the former Carmela once came in!
Why change a popular product? I now have this suit in 18DDD but still have "a baggy bottom" and the bosom is not an ideal fit. I will keep it because of the high scoop neckline and crisscross straps in back,
but overall it is a less flattering suit!

This is a very nicely styled suit but lacks your usual quality
I do like this suit but find that it's not quite up to the quality of the "Carmela" style (of which I own quite a few). The fabric is thinner, not quite as substantial feeling, and seems "chintzier" than your other slender suits. Also would appreciate more colors - as you used to offer in the "Carmela" style.

I ordered this in 14DDD. Initially I thought the straps were going to be too loose. However, multiple uses during aqua aerobics, scuba diving, and snorkeling have proven me wrong. The straps stay in place, the top supports my bust, and the suit is flattering.

Very disappointing new product, poor quality, poor fit
This new product is a dud. Don't even bother. The top is "blousy" and poor fit in spite of the underwire. The material is thin, and the shoulder straps are thin. Unless YOU are very thin - don't buy it. As an avid aqua aerobics class participant - for years I purchased multiple swimsuits of the Carmela style. I used multiple swimsuits since I take five classes per week. The Carmela swimsuit is no longer offered in plus size. I think Land's End is just "running out their existing inventory." A real shame - because they had a product winner - a sturdy, attractive, plus-sized swimsuit. Unfortunately this "replacement" is a pitiful product. Sorry Land's End. I will be looking elsewhere for my swimsuits in the future.
