Women's Slender Suit Scoopneck One Piece Swimsuit
Will Do. Just Not Carmela.
I'm a large woman who is also tall. It is rare I can find a suit that fits let alone look good. The scoopneck suit fits. Unfortunately it doesn't look very good on me. The ruching that hides a tummy is woefully inadequate. The Carmela suit -- its predecessor -- looked great AND fit. I actually looked pretty decent in it. Why Lands' End ditched a great swimsuit for this one, I do not understand. I am keeping this one, though with great reluctance. I need a suit. It fits. I'm just going to have to settle for looking like a lumpy blimp. You dropped the ball on this one, LE, considering what you had with the Carmela.

lovely color and fit
I have been looking for a suit from Lands End to replace one I got a few years ago -- so many of the suits are a bit too low cut for me, but this one is perfect. Very flattering on the top, holds my stomach in well and the shirring looks nice. I also love the navy color -- it is a nice change from black.

Keepin my fingers crossed!
Just ordered this suit & praying for a good fit! Nervous about the mixed reviews ,especially for the price ! Really wanted the Camella but no longer available :(. I have 3 colors & love the fit & was hoping for a new black one for my vacation! Please bring the Camella back!! I'll be following up !

Love how the top fits (Sz 14/D cup)
I weigh 175#, 5'5" and my torso is 65" = Size 14 Reg.
I also have the Carmella - which which many of the reviewers are mourning the loss of. But I was not impressed with that suit. I'm a 38D and the Carmella just made my breasts look like one grand lump.
Anyway, back to the ScoopNeck: Does not dip too low - cleavage is way over rated in bathing suits.
It loses a sailboard for being somewhat weak in the tummy control - even though it does not claim to be a 'tummy control suit.' Nice amount of comfortable compression.
The suit does NOT elongate your figure. But it is well constructed and the straps don't twist (like the Carmella).

Just as nice as Carmella
Even though I loved Carmella and never thought I'd find a replacement, this is it! I teach aquatics 5 days a week: hard aqua, jumping around aqua. I need support and modesty but some semblance of "cuteness" while teaching. This is it! Great suit, I already bought it in two colors and print. Huge amount of compliments on it too. I am 5'3 inches 129 pounds. Fits beautifully in a size 10. No tugging, no adjusting. And even though we all wish our suits would last forever in chlorine or pool chemicals, they don't. Lands End suits last longer than most! And WAY cuter. Most of my people buy what I wear, so we are a living breathing moving Lands End advertisement. (-:

Love this suit!
Never have I found a bathing suit that I am so comfortable in. I have big boobs and absolutely hate when they aren't covered modestly especially when I'm running after 3 kids! This bathing suit gave me great support and coverage- I plan in ordering in the other colour as well.

Please bring back the Carmela, it fit much better and came in a nice choice of colors!
It does not fit as nicely or flattering as the Carmela style did.

Pricey but nice
Nice suit if a bit pricey. Fits well and I like the support it provides. But I like the shape and support of the Carmela bathing suits much more. Came in better colours too.

This suit provides great upper body support for exercise.
I do aqua aerobics regularly at my gym. Once I discovered this suit, I have not bought any other suit. It provides the upper body support I need in the water to get the best work-out. I have purchased at least 10 of these suits in the last 3 years. The only problem I have is that the latest suit I bought has a thinner material. I hope it will last as long as the others have. (They will eventually succumb to the chlorinated water.)

While the general overall fit is fine - i'm rather disappointed that the openings for the legs is so tight. I'm a 16 size and all the measurements fit as per the charts, but the leg openings are so tight around my 'thigh/hip' joint that it's very very uncomfortable. I'd think that for this size this measurement or rather sizing would not be designed for the 'skinny legs' of a smaller person. Given that i've been through about 100 different suits (from a variety of different stores), have so very much trouble finding anything that fits at all (and that i like) and that this one is the best fitting overall, i'm going to keep it, but still disappointed.
