Retirement Dress
I have been looking for a dress that's not too dressy but not too casual. This dress perfectly fit the bill, and perfectly fits me. I wear a 2X comfortably. The front and back pleats complement one another. I normally avoid sleeveless but the dress is just so nice, I will go without sleeves. Suggestion, Land's End, do the same dress with either a short sleeve or 3/4 sleeve for other seasons. The crossover works perfectly even with my busty fugure. No pinning needed. I can't wait for the party to wear this fine dress.

Kept Both!
I bought this in both the red and blue shades, planning to return one, once I decided which color I preferred. However, once I tried them on, I decided to keep both. This dress is comfortable, flattering, both colors are pretty, and I could dress them up or down depending on accessories, shoes, etc. The quality is wonderful and I intend to wear one of them when I go to California for my son's semi-casual, outdoor, daytime wedding!

Adorable dress
As a petite gal (5' 0"), it can be difficult to find clothes that are proportioned correctly. Time and time again, I know my size is consistent with the Lands End petite line. This dress fits just right. I wear a Petite XS, and it is exactly the right size for me. The waist on this dress is very flattering, and both the drape and A-line of the skirt are balancing. There is no bulging or bulky seams in the waist or hip area. Overall, the dress is excellent in terms of fit and quality. I have not yet washed the dress, but my past experience with LE clothing is that everything washes well. I ordered the red color, and it is lovely. I am considering ordering a second one in another color!

Cuter in person then in the picture...DO downsize one.
First I would like to thank all the previous reviewers for letting the rest of us know to size down in this specific dress. I typically wear a P XS 2-4 in LE dresses. Due to so many of the previous reviews I had read, I ended up ordering P XXS. The dress fits perfectly! If I had ordered my true size the top would be too big for me. But since I bought XXS the arm holes are just as they should be. The top is not too tight or big. The cross over top does not fall open (I have one other dress in a very similar style but have to wear a brooch to keep the top closed). Going by the LE picture, I was iffy on how I would look in this. I worried for nothing..... it's pretty darn cute and very flattering on me. :o) I'm glad I purchased one in every color. I took a boat off the rating since the dresses don't fit true to size. Dresses washed and dried nicely. Take them out of the dryer immediately and no ironing is required. Definitely a dress you can dress up or down depending on the shoes and jewelry one chooses. Good for a wedding, running errands, taking on vacation....very versatile.

Quality fabric and fit, runs a bit large
This dress is quite nice -- high quality fabric, good drape, and the green is a beautiful color. It runs a bit large, however. The XS was still a bit big on me, and I normally wear a 2 or 4 at other stores. I am going to keep it since it is a nice dress and I got a good deal (and it works great if you are nursing). I think it might fit better for a slightly larger bust.

Size down, perfect fit!
I'm in love with this dress! I originally ordered this in a medium, but returned it for a small. I am pear-shaped, and the skirt is full enough that even though I needed the smaller size for my bust it still flows nicely on the bottom. The fabric is high quality, and I expect it to last longer than other jersey dresses The lining on the bodice makes it more substantial. I am looking forward to wearing this dress at my graduate school graduation and all summer!

Timeless, feminine and very comfortable
I bought this dress for wam weather evening wear and I'm very pleased ... it will also be good for travelling. The fabric has just the right weight and body and drapes very nicely. The Ink Blue looks great with a tan. After reading some of the reviews I ordered down a size and I'm glad I did. I am 5'4', weigh 120 lb. and the Petite XS fit perfectly with the hem falling to mid knee. I'm sure I'll get a lot of mileage from this piece.

Beautiful blue dress!
This is a very lovely, flattering dress. The blue color is beautiful. The fabric is flattering, and seems very high quality. My only issue with LE has been finding my size. According to the charts I am between a 16W and 18W, however I had to try several sizes (In several different garments) to find out the Large regular was the one that fit. The only drawback to this is that I would have preferred the extra length with the plus size, and the regular is a bit on the short side for a taller girl. All that said, I am quite happy with the dress and find it quite lovely & versatile from date night to church and all in between! And did I say, I love the color? Beautiful.

VERY NICE DRESS but order a size (or two) down!!
Very nice dress but fits too big. I'm 5'4" and 130 ibs (35 inches in bust and 29 in waist) and I needed to exchange my Small for an Extra Small.

Just like wearing a big tshirt, but fancier!
This dress is made from a wonderful modal/jersey knit so it's as soft as my favorite tshirts! My only complaint is the waist is a tad too high and it's a little loose in the bust for me. I have a pear figure, 35" bust, 31" waist, 43" hips, 170 lbs and I ordered the Small (6-8). The cut is very flattering for my wide hips but I wish the waist was a little bit lower and the length a tad bit longer. Overall though this is a very flattering dress that is perfect for hot weather.
