Women's Sleeveless Pattern Stretch Sateen V-neck Fit and Flare Dress
A perfect fit
This dress fit like a glove in my true size which is a 6. I often find that lands end items run big. This fit exactly right. The fabric is rather shiny. This sheen factor makes the dress a tad dressier than I expected. I love it. Perfect for a day event.

Love the fabric and cut
The dress construction and fabric are great. I wish LE made more like this and less modal. The pattern isn't my favorite--it felt matronly. So, while I love everything else about the dress, it is headed back. If you like the pattern, definitely go for it.

Dressy and Flattering Fit
Dressy enough for a summer wedding. Fit is flattering. Fabric is semi shiny, very nice. Comfortable.

Awesome Summer Dress
This dress is my favorite of all my summer dresses. I love the light fabric that presses up in a jiffy if needed. It has a low neckline so a bit of cleavage may show if you have any. It has an empire waist which for me is very flattering and doesn't show the lower belly "bulge" if you have any. It could easily also disguise a thicker waist. The side zipper made it easier to slide on and off then when closed gives it a nicely fitted look. I am more of a loose size 14 but the size 12 is really ok...just a bit more fitted. Love the colors. It is a versatile dress that could be worn as a "dressy dress" for special occasions or for a casual hot weather dress with sandals. I can't say enough good about this dress. Great value.

Unflattering; neckline too low and waist too high
I was really disappointed about this dress given the positive reviews. I am returning it.
I am 5'6" and normal BMI, and thought this would look reasonably good on me but was very wrong. I looked like an overweight 12 year old in it, or someone pathetically trying to look young. Some of that is obviously me, but some of it is the design of the dress. The neckline is lower than it appears in the model's picture. The waistline looks as though it can't decide if it wants to be empire style or at the natural waist of a very short-torsoed woman. The dress probably works best on women who look like the model or who are fairly large on top and don't mind showing a considerable amount of cleavage. YMMV.
I liked the weight of the fabric but the print was not matched at the seams and this was very obvious given how bold the print is. Some people don't care about this, but I would rather pay more and have it matched. It also has a strange, partial length zipper on a side seam. I have seen one other dress like this and can't figure out why. The zipper should go all the way up to the underarm if it is really going to be useful in getting you into the dress. If you don't need it to go all that way (which I didn't), then you don't need a zipper at all.

This is a truly lovely summer dress. I wore it to work yesterday and received so many compliments. It washes easily and needed only a slight touchup with an iron. It is lightweight, but not see-through in the least. The fabric is nice and crisp—perfect for summer weather. It is similar in styling to the sleeveless Cotton Modal Fit & Flare dress except that this dress is actually true to size. At 5’6” 120 lbs I typically wear a 4R at most stores. However, in LE’s Cotton Modal, I wore an XS Petite. Hopefully this is indicative of LE doing away with vanity sizing as I haven’t fit in an XS since I was 12 and while not exactly tall, I have never been considered petite in height. Very pleased that LE now has summer weight dresses in work-appropriate materials. The Cotton Modal looks like t-shirt fabric and is more appropriate as a bathing suit coverup or for running errands—not for a professional setting. It was also surprisingly heavy for a summer dress.
LE, please offer this dress in more designs!

Even more beautiful in person
The print and colors on this dress are lovely. The fit is a dream and although it's probably an inch or so shorter than I would have preferred, I'm so happy with the way it fits through the ribs and hip area. There is a bit of gaping in the bust area that will be solved by tacking it. It's a bit odd because I'm by no means busty, but the dress seems to think I am. This won't deter me from wearing it. It's fresh and light and should be the perfect dress to wear to my cousin's wedding this weekend. I'm using nude wedges to make my legs look longer but a cute flat or woven wedge sandal would be adorable too. Thanks Lands' End! Just a note that you should beware it's not lined, that would have been a nice addition because the fabric is rather light and it would help the skirt hang a little straighter which would be slightly more flattering IMHO.
