Women's Silk Pointelle Tank Top
(Relatively) Easy-care layering top
I have several pairs of these tops, and have been wearing one every day as a base layer this winter. They're light enough to be comfortable even when I'm wearing five layers, and I enjoy the extra warmth they add.
I've washed mine many times in a mesh laundry bag on the gentle cycle and air dried them. They have moderate pilling, because of the pointelle design, but I have had no problems with falling apart or losing shape. I love that I don't have to hand wash them, because, like I said, I've been wearing them every day.

Love this tank
This is the perfect tank. The fabric is so soft, light and amazingly warm. I am a registered nurse. in the hospital 10-12 hours, 5 days a week and a lot of times I don't want to wear a jacket, and this little tank is just the right thing under my scrub top. I am planning to come back and purchase a light neutral color to wear with my lighter scrub tops. Excellent purchase.

True to size, smooth under clothing, the extra layer of warmth I need.

Fell apart on the first washing
I wore it out of the package. Yes, it kept me warm and I was looking forward to making it a part of my winter wardrobe. Then I washed it and it fell apart!!! The binding around the arm holes completelyt unraveled. It was way too expensive to be a one wear piece. I would not recommend it.

Surprising warmth from a light layer!
Excellent layering piece. I'm amazed at how much warmth such a thin layer of silk provides. I wear it daily under everything in cold and snowy upstate New York. My 13yo daughter also loves it to wear in her drafty school. I'm usually a petite L or XL, but the petite L is just perfect and not too baggy to wear under other things.

I have four of these tanks and couldn't be more pleased. They are light weight and warm, very comfortable.

Soft and warm
Comfortable average fit. Took a medium, 136lbs. at 5'5" of average shape. I prefer roomier fit --nothing snug. Washes well in gentle cycle, but fades a little, only visible on my black ones. Not a concern for me because it's warn under anyways. Not too thick, but wonderfully warm for its weight.
It's a staple in our cold Canadian fall and winters.

pretty and warm but one model is lacking
I love the camisoles and buy one or two almost every year. BUT I wish LE would bring back the strapped ones they had a few years ago. Every so often even the tank top has too much fabric for what I am wearing, and the straps were Perfect. Alas and Alack, they are no longer to be found. I have even checked - oh horrors - Other Sites and of course nobody has what LE has, or the quality. Tell me LE, what must I do to have the strap model brought back?

These are so silky soft. I have worn it to bed and under sweaters. They drape nicely-not to clingy, not too loose. I am a size 6 and felt the small fit better. There was a bit of room to it, but not too much and I preferred the extra length.

Great for the office
I wear silk camis, and sometimes long sleeve silk, under my work shirts in the winter to work. They're a great way to keep warm when I'm not wearing layers. I ordered the x-small in this so it fits very closely and doesn't interfere with closer-fitting tops. I normally wear a small in other tops. The scoop neck doesn't show under other tops either.
