Women's Short Sleeve Solid Knee-length Sleep-T
time for an overhaul
I found these to be way too short. I purchased my last one a year ago. The product dimensions say length in my size is 40.5" but mine measure 35" and 36". I'm hoping they are being made longer now, and the dimensions are accurate. Will come back to comment when I get the one I'm ordering today. I hate the satiny binding with the little bow. Hate it. It's amazing how much it can annoy you, and it's silly looking. Fabric is fine, but I'm bored with the same old dull colors like lavender and light blue. How about a strong pink or a turquoise? Soft yellow? Coral?

Not quite as nice as my older one, but still nice
I have been reading these reviews for quite a while and was concerned about getting a new sleep T that was not as nice as my old one. My new sleep T is better than the last one I bought, but not as good as my older one. The material is like my older one... much better than my last one, which was purchased at least 4 years ago. The fit, however, is not what I wanted. I buy sleep T's for a loose, non-revealing fit. This new one fits more like a shaped T shirt, which may be flattering but is not what I wanted. I may have to try a larger one just to see if that is more like what I am looking for.

Not what it used to be!
The material quality has changed; too flimsy; doesn't feel soft and smooth like the previous version of this style. Didn't like the feel at all.

Seriously different sizing from the 4 I have (and the 5 I used to have)
I should have paid more attention to the reviews that said this sleep shirt has been sized differently. I have always bought this item in Medium, but the Medium nightshirts I just received are tight in the underarm and sleeves and close fitting around the body. I like a little movement in my nightshirts, and the size I have always ordered does not have it.
I returned the shirts as soon as I tried one on. Now where will I find a sleep shirt like what these used to be?

Not the same as what I was trying to replace.
I was given two Lands End sleep t's years ago and loved them! Wore them both out, and when I was down to the last one, I checked out the on line store, as I could not find any 100% cotton nightgowns anywhere. I thought that with the Lands End reputation I could get a replacement.
Nope. The two I ordered and washed before wearing, shrunk. They are smaller than when I took them out of the package and are a lot shorter than the picture.
I am keeping them as I cannot find 100% cotton nightgowns anywhere, and they were on sale for a very nice price.
However, like some of the others mentioned in their reviews, go back to your basics.

Style is different and the fit is snug. Buy a larger size....
I have bought the sleep T from Landsend for years. I don't recall how many I have, because some of the original ones had to be retired to the rag bag. It looks the reviews are half & half. Some people love them, some people are having the same problem I am. I use to buy a medium and although I have gain a few pounds over the years, I don't think the great Landsend product should have changed so drastically. I bought a large in one of the cute colors in Dec. I am not satisfied with the skimpiness of the gown. Seems shorter, tight around the arms, clingy and acts like I bought a small instead of a large. Not happy with the new style or lack there of.

Soft, soft, soft.
This nightgown matches the robe and I'm so happy with both. This is a very soft material and is so nice to put on before bed. It's warm, the right length, and soft. Did I mention soft? My husband has even mentioned how soft it feels.

This sleep-t was a big letdown
I have been purchasing the sleep-t for years starting with the t-shirt type garment with a pocket. I have purchased every iteration right up to and including the present one. I was never disappointed until the last two. Although I loved the available colors in the one prior to this, I disliked the slightly gathered neckline and found the fabric to be disappointing. I was glad I had a couple dozen of the previous ones to hold me over. I wrote a review expressing my extreme disappointment in the changes. Imagine my excitement when I saw the new one! Although I was very disappointed in the insipid colors, I was thrilled that you had to returned to the old style. I didn't notice that the new one way "fitted". When I received it and tried it on, I knew something was wrong. I don't want the fitted waistline and the tighter arms are very uncomfortable when sleeping. It is binding and pulls when I turn over. I hate it! The fabric is again disappointing too despite the high price. I used to always count on Lands End for quality and value. This garment is not up to your standards. Please don't tease us with another imposter! Bring back the one prior to the gathered neckline iteration and include some bold colors!

I love this nightgown!
It's #2. My first one was about 15 years old and I finally wore it out. Nothing but another one just like the first would do. I love this nightgown! (Did I say that already?) Super soft. Lasts and lasts.

Best nightgown ever
I have been sleeping in these nightgowns for years....They're so comfortable, and very soft. I have also given them to my grown daughters, and they love them.
