Women's Short Sleeve Print Knee-length Sleep-T
So where are the petite (and misses) XS sizes in all your sleep tees and PJs?!!!
I AM only 4' 11" and I find the "knee length" sleep tees of the last couple years to be well above my knees, too. Like them for summer, but they don't really stay put while sleeping - have to pull them back down whenever I roll over. Really need them to be at the knee.
I HAVE washed these in warm water, put them in the dryer on low for a few minutes, and then hung them to dry the rest of the way and have had little/no shrinkage.
I WOULD love to order more, but they are not available in petite XS! I really like the prints and wish each of the sleep tee styles came in all the available prints.
I HAVE also noticed that the midcalf print sleep tees that I have in both short and long sleeve versions stretch way the heck out of shape width-wise while sleeping in them - I get all twisted up in them when rolling over - and washing them doesn't get them back to size like other cotton knit garments typically do.

I should have listened to the other reviews….
I too have been wearing these for many years and I just ordered two more of the "knee length" sleep tees. One of them has already shrunk to mid thigh after only a few weeks and I am only 5'2". I can't imagine how they would fit someone taller. I like the print but I feel like I am wearing a child's t-shirt to bed. The solid one has not shrunk so apparently there is a quality control issue with the fabrics.

Pretty nightgown, comfortable and cute
The only reason why I gave this product four stars and not five was because it shrunk up in the wash by three inches. I am 5'4" so on a taller person that might be a problem. The fabric hasn't pilled and still fits overall. Very pretty and very good quality, and I like the satin trim and the bow!

I would buy all of these if they were longer! You could make many different sleep tees of you would make them in all of the different prints you make the pants. Also the long sleep tees I just bought are starting to pill!

Very comfortable. Wears good and washes good.

You can't fool the ladies!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the quality has gone down on these! I also have been buying for 20 years plus & they definitely don't make them like they used to. They do pill which they NEVER used to with Supima cotton. Why the change? If you're trying to cut costs, you're better off making a quality product like you used to-& we would pay the money as long as the product was good! Bring back Supima with deeper stretchy necks-& remember the slits on the sides??? Come on Landsend-listen to your customers!

For short people only
I've purchased these short sleep tees (as well as the long ones -- which aren't long enough!) for years, as have others who've written reviews. They keep getting shorter and shorter. I'm 5'6" and this sleep tee starts out 3" above my knee (hardly knee length) and ends up mid to upper thigh. Come on LE we're not all midgets, and there are petite sizes for those who are short. Also, I'm tired of the cutsey shiny binding around the neckline with the tiny bow. We're not all 8 years old either. How about self binding, something that's stretchy!! How about a slightly lower scoop neck rather than an almost crew neck. How about starting with pre-shrunk fabric! All these things would dramatically improve this formerly classic night tee. I'd totally love it and would tell absolutely everyone I know. Now I buy them only because they're all cotton and that's very hard to find. The other nice thing is that many of the new prints are quite attractive. I'm also very very tired of pink and blue -- wouldn't buy those boring colors for anything.

Pretty, but shrunk alot!
I've been ordering these nightgowns in the short and long variety since the 90's and still have and wear the first ones I bought. But I just received this nightgown and am very disappointed. In the past, the Supima cotton was great, but the quality has slipped steadily for a few years now. This time I tried it on before I washed it and was pleased to see it was a few inches longer than the short ones used to be. But after I washed it and put it on it had shrunk about 4 inches in length, was more snug all over, and the sleeves are too tight. Please bring back the Supima cotton. It is a pretty color and pattern, but I will be sending it back, possibly just for a larger size. I really wish they would expand the color line to include something besides blue and purples. The first one I ordered was a beautiful pale yellow that I still get complements on.

This sleep T is nowhere near "knee length!"
I have worn Lands End sleep T's for many years, but this one is way too short! I am 5'6" and it falls just below fingertip length (after washing). It would be knee length if you are 5'2" or under, in which case you probably would be ordering the petite... I'm also having a hard tome posting this review because all the names I choose are "already taken."

Not the Original Supima Sleep Tee
If you are looking for the return of the original Supima Sleep Tee, this isn't it. That was the only sleepwear I purchased since the 80's. I always bought the XL because I prefer it very roomy for sleeping. Also, the supima was always soft and comfortable, didn't pill, didn't cling, washed well and looked good for the 2-3 yrs I could get out of them. I purchased the lavender dot in XL. It is very attractive but it is very fitted on the top, and is sized smaller than previous XLs. The old XLs were at least one size too large on me, but these are too small. If you are on the busty side, without a bra, it is not pretty. With a bra, the girls are still pressed down. The lower half has a flair but is still a tad small. The new fit is like a fit and flare dress, not sleepwear. Sadly, I stocked up on this and the long sleeve version and all will be returned. Thankfully I still have a couple of the originals tucked away. Please return to the original fit and supima material.
