This is perfect for early fall & spring when you want your neck covered but long sleeves would be too hot. Please continue to make this in more colors.

Great fit, a versatile piece that I absolutely love. Perfect for layering. I would like to see it available in more colors.

What a great top! The color (mine's purple) is cheery and fun. The fabric is much lighter weight than the traditional Supima, but not in a bad way. One never knows at my office if it'll be 80 or 65 degrees, so layering is a must. I didn't roast wearing it under a cardigan or jumper. The fabric was not thin and cheap at all. Nor did I flash anyone when I took my sweater off - not at all revealing. The neckline is also just right, too. Not so tight to choke, and not so loose to be a crumb catcher or look like my head is sticking out of a chimney. Just a good scrunched drape, as shown on the model in the photo. Love the short sleeves, too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LeafFan A great basic
I was surprised to read so many negative and lukewarm comments about this top. I like it a lot. The knit is soft but not clingy and the cut is very flattering. I like the tight neck, the close-fitting sleeves and the shaped body which give this a tidy look. It is referred to as a layering top but I find I can wear it on its own, at least in black. It looks very sleek with slim-fitting black pants. I wear XS in classic Lands End cuts but sized up to a S. This reminds me a lot of the type of item offered by the old (discontinued) LE Canvas line. It is much more like something offered by a Contemporary brand than a classic one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ewinny White is very sheer
Fabric is very light and very sheer. Would not be comfortable wearing it under an open jacket. A colour other than white might be better. Fit is small and yet quite long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PieGurl Nice, light layer turtle
It's about time there's a short sleeve turtle available for winter (NOW if you folks could provide a sleeveless version that would be a double win!) This fit great on me, even the neck was a-okay, not too tight for me. This will serve me well for several years to come I'm sure. Hoping that navy comes back in stock in my size! (purchased the black, beige and white).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Zoe107542 Very Soft
Given that this is a layering tee and therefore does cling, it's a pretty good one. I don't like cling, so it took me a while to wear it. Now that I have, I can say that it's better than I thought, quite soft and comfortable. Although I'd prefer sleeveless and/or looser with more cotton, this one is nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Delbird Great T'neck for layering
When I found this top, LE was already out of Large in the colors I wanted so I ordered Medium. The tops are quite stretchy and as I won't be wearing them on their own, it doesn't matter that they're a bit tight as it means there is less fabric to layer over. The neck is a bit snug to pull over ones head but once over, it isn't too tight around my neck. I do hope that they are back again as I wish I had been able to get the Classic Navy (not available in either Medium or Large).

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kola Too tight neck
I ordered the 1X but XL is really my size. The XL colors were sold out. The 1X had plenty of room in the body but the neck was much too tight, but I did like the fabric. There is no way I could wear this turtleneck with it choking me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Katsy Not a Good Fit For Me
I was so excited to finally see the short sleeved turtle neck shirt again, I didn't read the details as I should have. I got one large and one medium and both were very tight around the neck. They are tight and clingy all over. I sent them back and ordered a total cotton long sleeved print mock turtle neck that has a relaxed fit. These shirts were thin but hot and not something I would layer over.
