Women's Shape & Enhance Ultra High Rise Swimsuit Bottom
Great for tummy issues
I've given up on trying to find swim shapewhere to actually hold my tummy and extra tummy skin in. They really don't work, or they just push the lumps somewhere else, resulting in a very unflattering muffin-top effect. So, the next best thing is to make sure my tummy stays covered (I have major twinskin, a c-section "flap", and a diastasis that causes my stomach to bulge out in all kinds of unflattering ways). This is the answer! I got the navy and love that it's so easy to pair with any tankini top that has some navy in it. I can choose a tankini top that best flatters my top half and then not worry at all about my bottom half! The bit of ruching at the sides adds a nice little modern touch and when layered under a tankini top, it appears to just be a regular bikini bottom with the way the ruching is placed. My only beef is that I wish the back had a bit more coverage. My butt isn't the best either. Agree with other reviews that this runs a bit small - I am normally a 2 and had to order a 4 so you might want to order 2 sizes and return the one that doesn't work.

Love this bathing suit! I'm tall and have a hard time finding one piece suits long enough, and I'm also chunky :P so a traditional short tankini wasn't happening. This bottom comes up high to cover everything and the control part of it is pretty good. It looks as good as any bathing suit is going to look on me.

Extra coverage and slimming too!
I like to wear tankini swimtops and sometimes when I jumped in the pool the top would rise a little and with a medium rise bottom I would be exposing some belly. This high-rise bottom prevents that from happening and bonus, it gives a slimmer, more flattering line under the tankini top. However, the leg openings are pretty large. That feature works for me, but if you have thinner thighs, this bottom might not fit you properly. The sizing is true, I wear a 12 bottom normally and the medium 10-12 fit me.

Great fit except for leg openings
I had to return this item. It was exactly what I had been looking for but the leg openings were too big. Everything else about this bottom was great. Other previous reviews had mentioned this same problem.

Leg openings cut too high...
After giving birth to two huge babies by cesarean section, my lower abdomen is a mess of loose skin and damaged muscles that no amount of crunches could ever repair. So I need a control brief to support that sagging tissue below my navel but anything with a lower waistband just slides down and rests directly on my scar (which is not only unflattering but also painful). I'm not a plus-sized woman so finding a bottom like this in a size 10 is difficult. I was thrilled to see Lands End make this bottom available in regular sizes and had high hopes for finally being able to wear some of my tankini tops again.
Unfortunately, the leg openings of this bottom are cut so high that my loose abdominal tissue actually gets squished downward and out of the front of the suit...giving my crotch area a "muffin bottom." Ew! If I pull the suit down a bit to cover that area, then the "high rise" effect of the suit is lost and the gripper elastic goes right around my rib cage, making an unsightly roll under my breasts.
So, if you just have a bit of a squishy tummy that needs to be tamed, this bottom might work fine for you. But if you are contending with a "cesarean shelf" like me, sadly you will find that this bottom isn't the ticket.

Firms the way I want.

Excellent control swim brief. Fits great- but order one size down!
This is great because it is high enough that skin does not peek out when wearing a tankini. It doesn't ride up and keeps the backside covered. I earned from an earlier purchase that the swim bottoms run very large. Order one size down and you will not be disappointed.

Nice looking bottoms
Read the sizing chart! I ordered 2 sizes down, according to my waist and hip measurements, and got a good fit. These bottoms fit well, are well-made, and seem to stay up pretty well without being too tight. ( I don't need minimizing support, but I like a little support, and these bottoms are good for that.) The dark blue color is almost black, so I think it could be worn to coordinate with either blue or black tops. These bottoms fit very high up on the body, which is higher than I like, but the other choices were too low cut. I would prefer something in-between. I liked these bottoms, but since I didn't like the top that I ordered to go with them, I sent both the top and bottoms back.

For the fist time I can wear a tankini-style bathing suit because I no longer have to contend the "muffin top" that shows with a bottom that hits at the waist or below. Does seem to fit a bit large.

Leg holes too big
I wish they would have made this with the lower leg cut. I like the higher waist under a tankini eliminating the bottom suit line, but the legs are too big and the high cut does make it either sag or ride up.
