Women's Shape & Enhance Scoop One Piece Swimsuit
I'm proud of my body, but no longer feel the need to show every inch of it. Finding a one-piece suit that doesn't feel matronly or too covered up can be challenging. This one is really cute. Definitely has a vintage feel to it with the dots and high-waist belt. The built in underwire cups offer a little support and impressively do not show through. I'm 33, 5'4", 118lbs, generally wear an XS or 2. I ordered the 8 here, wary of other reviewer's tales of wrestling their way into the suit. It works (alas, there's no time to reorder before the vacation), but I think a 6 would have been better and given me a smoother fit across the tush and bust. Size up, but maybe not two sizes. Overall, a cute really well made suit at a great sale price!

Not for tall girls
It is a beautiful suit but if you have a long torso, keep searching. I am 5'9" and when I put the suit on, the bust hit me about two inches shy of where it should have. I ended up giving it to a shorter friend, because I thought it was such a cute suit.

Fortunately I read the reviews before ordering. I wear a 12 in the tugless tank and just received a size 16 which barely fits. It really is tight and corset-like, so much so I think an 18 would've fit better. How on earth they got the sizing so very wrong is beyond me!
I wish the straps were a little wider too. It makes sense that underwires provide more support for those of us gifted with a larger chest.... in which case slightly wider straps would also make sense. Because the suit is so tight it kind of pulls down a bit and because I'm a D cup I need to be hoiked up.... which the thin straps don't do very well.
As has been pointed out it is a right bugger to get on. You don't want to be in a hurry, but once it's on it's not going anywhere. I can't imagine trying to get it on if it was wet.
Apart from that it is a great suit, well made, flattering, nice print etc. and good value on sale. In spite of my criticisms I think I'll be keeping it.

High Quality -- Order 2 Sizes Up
I am 5'2', 115 lbs., and a B cup (measurements are approximately 34-26-36). I typically wear a 2 or 4 in pants and XS in tops. I carry my weight more in my hips and thighs (I have a small waist). This swimsuit definitely fits very small, so go up 2 sizes. I got a 6, and it just fits. If I gain any weight, I don't think I'd be able to wear it.
I orderd the navy with beige polka dots. The color was very saturated and looked better in person than on screen. It has a retro look to it for some reason (maybe the polka dots and belt?). The material is very thick and high quality and holds in the tummy area. There is an underwire bra, which gives some support (not that I have much to support). You cannot see the underwire from the outside. Shoulder straps are adjustable. I am short with medium torso length, but I had to adjust the shoulder straps to the longest level to fit, so be careful if you are tall and/or long-waisted. The leg rise is perfect. It was neither too high nor too low (the photo of the model is accurate).
There is subtle ruching in the waist at the sides and a removable belt held in place by belt loops. The belt has a gold metal snap buckle and is not adjustable. It was a tad loose on me, so the buckle kind of shifted around while I was swimming. If you wear the swimsuit without the belt, you will have belt loops sticking out of the sides, which I guess isn't a big deal. The suit stayed very secure while I was swimming, which is a requirement for me.
This is a great swimsuit, and I highly recommend it for those who want a slenderizing suit in a simple, classic look.

A very good looking suit!
This suit fits just right. I'm a square shape, and need some definition and toning at the waist line. This suit is very flattering and I feel good wearing it. The fabric and construction are excellent.

Great looking suit
This was by far one of the most expensive suits I've ever purchased....even on sale. (It has since reduced even further, which just kills me, but I digress). I am about a size ten or twelve; I ordered the sixteen in the swimsuit based on other reviews and it fits perfectly...not too tight, but plenty of support. I probably could have gone with the fourteen, but I don't like the feel of miracle suits or things that make me feel like I'm in a sausage casing, so for me two sizes up was comfy. I'm large chested and I love that it has adjustable straps, and doesn't show a ridiculous amount of cleavage...often a problem for me. I mean, who wants to the be the mom at the pool with her chest hanging out? It has nice support with the high back and retro styling. It's very slimming and falls in a good place on the leg. I've got a smaller waist, larger chest and hips; my body would have been most appreciated in the 1950's. This suit really make me look nice and put together without letting it all hang out.

I love this swimsuit!
This swimsuit is great and I also like the vintage look of the belt too.
Land's End def did homework for creating a swimsuit that woman wants to buy.
The material of swimsuit is tight that it does make my tummy area smoother!
HOWEVER, because material is tight, it does run a bit small when you put on.
I am 5'2", 114lb and I usually order Land's End, regular size 2 or Size S,
but this one is so tight, I had to order size 6 and it was actually perfectly fit for me.
SO, I will recommended to order few size bigger!! I added about +1 inch
to my regular size and order it.

A polka-dot python worth battling
As much as I like to think I can wear any bathing suit and look pretty good, there’s no denying the effects of Gravity-over-time! I have a very “straight” figure and so the underwire top helps lift the little bit that’s there, while the narrow, wide-set straps further accentuate my shoulder-line. I love belts; I wear them on even the lowest-slung jeans and on jean-skirts, so when I saw this suit and that the belt was not “fake,” that it could come off if you wanted? Well, I had to have it. YES: it’s T-I-G-H-T. Beyond tight, really. Getting into it is like battling a POLKA DOT PYTHON. But you can win that battle, too! When you get it on I bet you’ll feel like I do: supported as if in a custom corset; sleek and slimmed as any Greek statue. The SIZING: do not follow the chart. Use your experience with other Lands’ End suits. Better yet, find a store where you can try some of them on. I’m 5”5”/115lbs/34-30-36 and the “8” fits perfectly (ordering by the numbers would have had me with a “2” or “4” and completely disappointed).

Suit really shapes you!
I was so pleased worth this suit, the fit was great. I did order an 8, but it was too small, I could hardly pull it up. I decided to go up a size to a 10, the fit was great! The suit is a little hard to pull on because of the strength of the spandex. I had no trouble with back fat, suit did an excellent job of holding everything in.
I do recommend buying a size larger than one's regular size.

lovely but way too tight and expensive
The suit is beautiful. The slimming component makes it nearly impossible to get on. Once I did, it pushed my body up so I ended up with a lump of back fat hanging over the back of the suit. I've never had that with any other suit.. I'm not overweight. I have had other slimming suits, but nothing like this. This was also the most expensive suit I've bought. For that price, It should do great things for my appearance. I don't know how much a larger size would help, but am unwilling to try. I'll just return it. Too bad. It looks so lovely in the catalog. Too much hassle.
