Women's Shape & Enhance Knot Surplice Tankini Top
The best tummy control I have found.
I am 5'7", 200 lbs. my bra size is 42DD. I ordered a size 20. It's fits perfectly. It actually makes me look smaller and gives my confidence a boost. The silicone around the waist helps it from riding up nicely too. If I could change anything, I would make the straps adjustable though.

Loved the suit until it discolored badly
I loved the fit of this suit. I am apple shaped, and this gave my figure a little boost, slimming in the middle and I liked how the arm area covered more in the back of my shoulders. Would have been perfect except for the fact that the white parts of the suit (black knots pattern) turned completely yellow. Not just around the top where some sunscreen might have rubbed off, but all over. The white is now almost banana yellow. And this is after only a few weeks of wear. I've never had that happen to a LE suit before. I have this suit in purple too, and while the dark color hides it better, I can tell that it is discoloring too, if at a slower rate. I have LE suits from three years ago that are still pure white in the background. Wish I could return it. :(

I loved the pattern and colors, but the suit cut into my underarms in such an uncomfortable and unflattering way, it didn't matter what size I bought- it would never look or feel right.

Fell far short of expectations
This was my first slenderizing suit, and I didn't expect it to be so constricting. I tried it on during a cool day, and can't imagine how uncomfortable it would feel sitting in the hot sun. The main reason I returned the suit is that 1# the armholes are cut so high that quite a bit of flab peeks out above suit when you hold your arms to your sides and 2) it didn't come in LONG, which I really need. The design is beautiful and looks elegant, but the swimsuit's shortcomings made it a poor purchase. Please note that I am NOT that overweight - maybe 10 pounds - but I've had 3 children and that takes its toll ... I have bought about 10 swimsuits from Lands End #including one last year, a tankini that I LOVE) and I am definitely not giving up on finding a suit for this summer.

Love the swim suit but it got discoloured after 2 wears
I bought this swim suit for a trip to Mexico and loved it. It is flattering, fits great and is very slimming. It helps hold everything in place without being too constricting. However, after wearing it twice to the beach and in the pool, the white fabric around the top of the suit turned a yellowish colour. It is a subtle discolouration but still noticeable. I have tried washing and it is not coming out.

suppresses the jiggles, lets the sunshine in
After losing 50 pounds, I was looking for a swim suit that would let me be active and get a little vitamin D while suppressing the jiggles down. This top is perfect. I like the length, the amount of sun exposure in the back, the built in bra that actually supports these DD's, and the silicone around the bottom edge that will keep it from flipping up, I hate it when tankinis do that. I also bought the high rise slender skirt in a matching color and look forward to a summer of being active outdoors, showing a little more skin where I want (arms, legs and back) and not where I don't (belly). Thank you Lands End for making swim suits for real women with real bodies. I would give it 5 stars, but good grief these are expensive swim suits. One every 5 years is all I can afford.

Does not have underwire like description says
I was very disappointed when I received this suit. I absolutely love the design and the color but the description CLEARLY states that it has underwire cups? but it does NOT. When I inquired about the misleading description I was informed the underwire is only for the PLUS size.

I gave this product five stars because of the great fit -- it really does make you look thinner and is comfortable too! It has a little sticky plastic strip on the bottom that helps it stay in place, which is very handy when you're sitting in a bubbly hot tub! I've got several other Lands End tankinis that I have to tuck in or hold down so they don't expose my tummy! I ordered this suit (this top and the swim shorts that match) with a bit of a worry that the high price wouldn't be worth it, but although I feel it's overpriced, I decided to keep it for the looks and comfort. Several minor issues: the neckline plunges way too low in this crossover type of top, literally exposing the very top of my stomach in the middle when I wasn't completely standing vertical. My daughter thought one of my "girls" could fall out when I bent over! Since I got it the same day as we left for a cruise, I wore it only once before realizing I had to pin the two cups together in the middle for even a bit of modesty, and still way more cleavage than I'm used to showing. A strategically placed safety pin made me feel better. The two sides are not connected in the middle at all. Not sure which designer thought that would be OK for someone who is looking for a slenderizing suit! I will sew the two sides together in the middle for a permanent solution. Also, the straps are braided, and quite lumpy on the top of your shoulder which gets a bit uncomfortable. Stopping the braided part just before the top of the shoulder would have been better, or an entirely smooth strap. Also, the plastic adjusting buckle sits right on the top of the shoulder, also uncomfortable since it's the pressure point in holding up the girls.... That should be on your back somewhere. And lastly, the white part of the design in my black and white suit is now a yellowish color that didn't wash out now that I'm home. This is from being in salt water and hot tub water. I have that same problem with some white nylon swimshorts -- yellowing of anything white that will not wash out, and I can't use bleach to whiten it. A fabric issue that can't be easily resolved, I'm sure, but I do notice how dingy anything white looks after only several uses. That said, because of the comfort and good looks, I'll put up with all that and this is my new favorite suit.

I had two of these last year and loved them. It slims all the way around the mid section including the hips since it's a longer style. I'm 5'5, size 12, and a D cup. I didn't feel like I had to constantly hold in my tummy and it doesn't ride up in the water like every other tankini top. It's a bit cleavagey, but as a D cup I have yet to find a bathing suit that isn't. I ordered a size up because I saw several reviews saying it was too snug. Going up a size was perfect. Highly recommend if you are looking for a top that really slims. I hope they come out with a larger selection of patterns.
