Women's Seaside Gardens Shirred Tankini Top
perfect tankini for me
I am very happy with my purchase; the quality of the fabric, the fit, & it is comfortable to wear. This tankini is just what I was looking for!

Really like this bathing suit top
I really like this bathing suit top. It fit me really well. I bought a size 16. It does show a lot of cleavage, but I am not big busted so that was not a problem for me. I did not use the padding that comes with it. It just did not seem to do anything for me. I think if you are a big busted woman you might want to read some reviews of women that are and see if it works for them. I bought the blue. I was going to buy black, because that is the color of all my swimsuits. I am glad that I did get the blue. It looks nice and is a refreshing change. One final thought that I like about the swimsuit is that the top does not go around my neck since I have a lot of problems with pain in my neck.

Recommended with an exception....
The material drapes beautifully, the length is perfect, the material dreamy, the shirring is flattering.... However, if your breasts are D or larger, you will not fit. Sigh. Beautiful, otherwise!

awkward fit - sizes 12+ , you're not going to like this.
I ordered a large size, the cups are way too small. I am not an excessively large-busted woman, pretty much a good proportion to the rest of my body. The cups also oddly flatten the bust...looking down at it they appear to be smashed up against a flat board..it becomes rounded towards the outside, which makes my boobs look ridiculously unnatural and very unattractive..like I have two round horns curving down and away from my body. The straps curve inward just above the armpit, which not only accentuates but worsens the unfortunate blob of flesh that resides there. It's not really long enough.
The skirt is an odd combination of loose and low waisted. If I ordered it any smaller it probably would reveal the top of my butt. As it is, combined with the too-short length of the top i feel like I'm showing a lot of skin when I sit - skin I don't want to be showing.
Just a really poorly designed suit, I pick at it and yank at it the entire time I wear it. Very disappointed, not what I'm used to from Lands End but I'm stuck wit it. It's a shame, before this I could order suits from them with 100% confidence.

I got it on sale but I like it so much I would have paid full price!
I bought this swim top on a whim at Sears while returning a different Lands End swimsuit I had purchased online. I got it on sale but I like it so much I would have paid full price!
This top fits great---snug in the places I want it to be snug (mostly in the chest and straps) but loose in the stomach area (tankinis that are tight in the stomach area sort of defeat the purpose). As other reviews point out, the top does show a good amount of cleavage (I'm a 32D and ordered a size 6 in this top), but there are removable foam inserts in the cups that can be taken out for a (slightly) more modest look. I bought the top in black and it pairs just fine with my various black swim bottoms that aren't from Lands End.
I've worn it a few times now, both in the pool and in a hot tub and have hand washed after each wear. Like most Lands End products, I have a feeling it will last me a while. Very pleased with this purchase!

did not like the fit
have a hard time finding swim tops that look good on my 36A self (I'm 5'6", 125#) without being too loose on top. I ordered an 8 in this and the fit was too small - the cups have A LOT of padding, just felt like my chest was being squeezed too tight, and I didn't like the way the top draped either. Returned it.

Very uncomfortable and difficult to put on
I ordered this top to go with the swim mini. However, it was very difficult to put on and to take off because of the very cumbersome built in bra. I am a 34 B so I ordered the 8. I almost needed to call for help to get it off! I thought that this meant that I needed a larger size, so I ordered the 10. It wasn't much better. I ended up returning both. A lining in the cup part would be sufficient. The bra was way too much!!!

Small and TIGHT but so cute
I normally wear a size 34A in a bra. I wear a size 0 or 2 in normal clothes. I weigh 105 and am about 5ft- so I am petite- not just trying to squeeze into something too small for me. I saw that people said this was a very snug top, but considering my size I figured it would be a safe bet for me. I ordered this in a size 4 and the top is too tight. It is VERY padded with under wires which is good at my size (or lack thereof), but it totally squishes and smooshes what little I have and makes that very unattractive bulge type thing around the front plunge portion and on the sides near the underarms. It is not comfortable. If I order the next size up, the 6, I am afraid that the length will be way too long on me and could potentially cover my entire tankini bottoms. I have never ever had this problem with a tankini top. This is almost a perfect suit- so close- so cute and great quality materials. The bra portion of the top is very fitted and isn't going to go anywhere so if you have a toddler pulling at the top you are very safe, but you may be in pain and look like you have four breasts instead of just two.

Cute Tankini top but shows ALOT of breast
I actually had to return this top. I got it for my teenage daughter. We both thought it was really cute but it showed WAY too much breast for a young teenager. They have a bathing suit line where you can order by cup size and that worked much better for her. If you have large breasts, I would definitely recommend ordering by cup size and not take a chance on the "regular" tops.

The fit is great and it is very pretty with the draping. True to size and it was on sale for 1/2 the prize. There is nobody comparible to Land's End when it comes to quality!
