Women's Seaside Gardens Rose Floral Bandeau One Piece Swimsuit
I wanted to love this suit and should have heeded the warnings of others. The top should have been lined in something besides white because without the straps (and even with them) you can't keep the lining from showing. The rear end was baggy and the shape made my tummy look bigger, not smaller. It's already been returned.

lining shows - bummer
I adore the print! Gorgeous! But the suit was too small/tight, and I've consistently worn an 8 for years. I can deal with the tightness, but the white lining pokes out the top on the left side, just as everyone has said. I can sew, so I attempted a fix, but really the construction of the garment isn't fixable to completely prevent the lining from showing. Bummer! Please keep the print, Land's End, but do some more testing first!

Yep, the lining shows... unwearable
Obviously this product was completely untested before it was put up for sale... the design pulls the top of the suit down and shows the lining on one side. Wearing the straps did not prevent this, and it looks like what it is - a poorly constructed suit. This is a real shame because everything else about the suit is gorgeous. I am a hobby seamstress, but it would have been a real challenge to make this work, even if I had the time to fuss with it. Back it went.

Lining keeps showing
Unlike other reviewers, I don't find this suit too short, but that's probably because I am a petite, and would normally order petite in a tank. Nor did it fit too tightly, but that may be because I always order (or should order) a size down in Land's End. The purple print is lovely.
I look ok in the suit, although I would like the neckline deeper, as I like to show a bit more cleavage at the beach than Land's End thinks I should. Also, underwire would be helpful.
However, the biggest problem with the suit is the top. The folded-over style, while nice in theory, results in the top elastic continually flipping over to reveal the white lining. I have tried tacking down the lining to the suit, with no success. In order for the suit to look good, you have to wear the straps. Well, I was hoping to be able to wear it without.
I love this print so much, I'm keeping it. But I have to say, my el-cheapo tankini from the discount store is more reliable than this suit.

I love the colors!
After receiving this suit I tried it on and it fit well. However, since I am a plus size I would like to have seen the straps a little bit wider as you can see the inside lining at the very top of the suit unless you keep pulling up the straps! Heading to Hawaii next month and I think it will be perfect.

not a good fit
I have worn Land's End suits for years. Usually I buy the tugless tank or grecian slender suit and love them for my pool exercise classes. I decided to try something different this time. Even though some of the reviews were negative, I thought it would be okay. It wasn't!! In my usual size, the whole body of the suit just seemed too short. I felt crammed into it, even with the straps adjusted as long as they could go. Also, same complaint as the other reviews, the top edge of the suit rolled so that the white lining showed. This would require someone talented in sewing to make a second seam at the top so it didn't roll and show the lining. I will stick to my trusted tanks and grecian style. They both fit wonderfully, every time.

Cute suit, Need to SIze Up
I usually wear a 12DD in Land's End tankinis and bought this is a 14 at my local store. I liked the fabric fine (didn't notice any scratchiness) and it fits me well. Usually I hate one pieces, due to my longish torso, but I didn't have any problem with length and I am 5'10''. The support is a little less than what I'm used to, but it should be fine with the straps crossed. I wouldn't pay full price for this suit, but at a discount it's a good deal! Cute retro/90's print that is stylish right now.

Finally, great prints! Tragically, terrible fit & fabric!
I want to encourage Land's End to do more cool and chic prints. Like this really adorable rose print. I've reviewed Land's End swimsuits before, because quite literally the BEST-fitting and best-quality suits I've ever owned have been from Land's End. So I was rubbing my hands together with glee when this one appeared in spring 2013. Hurrah! Finally a great-fitting suit . . . with a non-dowdy pattern! (I am a hater of the usual Land's End color palette: grandma jewel-tones, mumsy country-club-but-not-quite prints. Blerg. I wear Land's End despite the color and pattern choice.) So I practically had a tantrum of disappointment when I discovered that there was something really "off" with this fabric. It felt scratchy. It was not stretchy. My usual Land's End size was too short in the torso and too tight across the boobs. It looked bad, but felt worse. Bwwwwwah! Back it went. Land's End, PLEASE do not give up on the younger and chic-er patterns and colors. Just do a better fabric-feel test next time. Thank you!

Beautiful but poor fit
Hats off to Lands End for such a beautiful pattern and color palette. However, that's all this suit had to offer.
I am plus size and buy all of my bathing suits at Lands End. I own four different tankini combinations, so I can attest to their quality and fit. I am also a plus size petite person - aka, I'm short, only five two.
The torso on this was too short for me, and I don't have a long torso. To cover my chest, it pulled in the crotch area. It also fit, to the point of being a bit too big in some areas, so if I went up a size and got this baby wet - there would have been something bad happening at the public pool!
Also, the chest rolled. There's a white band around the edge of the chest, around the back, that shows because the top of the suit rolls just a bit. It happened in the back, too.
I sent it back although I wanted to make it work. Maybe a longer torso is needed for plus sizes? I'm not sure what the issue is, but the construction of this suit just made it non-functional. Beautiful color though, I bought it in the plum. So pretty. Please make these patterns and colors next year!

wanted so much to love this one!
i really wanted to love this suit. tired of black all the time, i loved the colors and print (i ordered the grape one and it is a beautiful print). but, alas, it did not work. the suit rolls down a bit in front and on the back, so the white lining shows a little bit, and it just wasn't that flattering. not horrible, but not great.
