Kept me dry in a downpour!
I brought this in the red for me, lime for mum. Mum has wanted this in the lime since she first saw it in a catalogue Lands' End sent me. The lime is lovely, a bright green/yellow shade, much nicer than the picture. The red is a true red. We wore them on a Sydney harbour cruise 2 weeks ago, and they kept us dry in a sudden downpour! Only our shoes and jeans got wet. We were the only ones left standing outside in the rain! They really are waterproof! They're also windproof, and roomy enough to fit a bulky sweater underneath. The hood is very big and falls quite low, but this can be adjusted. It looks great on, excellent shape. Looks much more expensive than what I paid: I've seen lower quality raincoats here in Sydney for much higher prices ($300-400!). Very pleased. This is why I keep buying with Lands' End! They do well with international delivery too! Well done!

perfect
I was looking and looking for the perfect rain jacket for Alaska. I'm from SOCAL and never get any weather. It was going to be mild to rainy in Alaska in early June and I got this in blackberry. I am so thrilled that I will be prepared with this coat. I am 5'4" and 130lbs and I got the Petite Small since reviewers said the arms run long. It fits absolutely perfect and I cannot wait to wear it in a few weeks and I have room for a light fleece underneath for added warmth. I will let ya'll know if it passes the rain test but so far so good and I love it and like other people have said I would want one in another color too.

Great looking rain parka
This jacket fits well and looks great. Haven't actually had to use it in the rain as yet though, so don't know how it will perform.

The colour, design and fit are very attractive.
I bought 2 of the same colour which is blackberry. One for me in small regular and one for my daughter in small petite and we both love it. I usually wear a medium in jackets but since I read the reviews that this is a big fit, I ordered a small. Great fit even the sleeves. I wore mine when it was raining here in Toronto and the weather was milder. It kept me warm with a sweater underneath. It's a great windbreaker too.

Runs very small
I was extremely disappointed in the sizing of this item. I usually wear an XL in Lands End and have several other jackets that size that fit perfectly. I ordered an XL and it was too small so I returned it and got an 1X. It is also very small and I will have to return it as well. I won't be reordering this item. Also this review process not at all user friendly. Sorry, Land's End, very disappointed this time.

Just right for my purposes
I like the way it fits--sleeves slightly long--and especially the drawstring waist that adds a bit of femininity. I wanted a thigh-length raincoat that didn't add much warmth, and Land's End came through. I adore the blackberry color!

Nice Rain Parka
I used the Lands End size chart and ordered a Petite Small and it was a great fit. The Vermillion (true red) color is exactly what I wanted. My only concerns: the zipper seems so stiff, but hoping that will lessen as I use it. Also, this parka is not lined and hope it will not feel too hot when I wear it in the summer.

Perfect Rain Jacket
I am always on the search for light weight rain jackets and I can tell you they are not easy to find! This is one of the nicest I currently own. The material, though waterproof, is soft and supple. I rarely wear a jacket winter, spring or summer that is not waterproof as I'm always out walking with my dog and you never know when the wet weather will appear. I love this jacket as it has only a mesh lining so can be worn in spring, summer and fall season. It's roomy enough to add another layer if needed and there is a nice selection of colors. Love the double pockets with top and side entry and they are nice and deep. The hood is large enough to give you full coverage but not so large that it blocks your vision. I quite often fold over one or two layers on my hoods anyway so I can see better. i would definitely recommend this jacket and compared to some other companies that sell something similar, the price is very good.

Great lightweight raincoat with hood
I've been searching for some time for a raincoat with a hood that wasn't boxy. This one fits the bill.
based on previous reviews about tight arms I ordered up a size. The coat is very room but the waist cinches in with the draw cord so it works well. The hood also has a draw cord which is great for keeping it on when its windy.
it was delivered just before a major storm and I stayed very dry.

Not breathable as advertised
I bought this jacket in January to be ready for spring & summer rain. When I received the jacket I called Landsend to double check that this fabric was breathable because it did not feel breathable. They told me it was. I love the way the jacket looks. We have had cold weather this spring in Michigan and today (Apr 18) is the first day I have had a chance to wear the jacket. It is not breathable and because of that was uncomfortable to wear. I will be returning the jacket.
