Women's PrimaLoft Packable Jacket
In general, I like the idea and features of the jacket. However, for me there were several negative factors. It is large enough around (3X), but the shoulders pulled when I brought my arms forward. The sleeves are also too short. While I have long arms, short sleeves are inconsistent with other LE jackets I've bought. A sock-top cuff would help keep the air out of the sleeves, and might "forgive" the shortness somewhat. I like the lightness of the jacket, but thought the warmth rating (0-20+) is inaccurate. I wore it with a robust (not heavyweight) sweater, but could feel the cold damp Boston chill (35 degrees this morning) settling on the surface. I did not feel warm. Even taking into account a damp chill, and cotton sweater vs wool or fleece layer, I think the jacket should have felt far warmer. (It would help to have a "no layering" rating as well.) My final comment is on the lining. It is very lightweight, minimally secured to the outer layer, and too large for the surface. It just looks sloppy. I envision it catching on something and ripping easily. Maybe my jacket was an anomaly, but it's not up to the Lands End standard that I expect. It's likely I will return it.

So toasty, and I like the fit
I wore this coat for the first time this morning--11 degrees outside and I was toasty. It's incredible that a coat this thin can be so warm. I don't have any problems with the sizing. I am an apple shape and always take a women's size L in all LE t-shirts and sweaters, and ordered a size L in this coat. I find the size just right: not too tight in the arms and a good fit around the torso and waist. I'm busty and when zipped up, the coat flattens me out a bit, but not so much that it feels or looks tight. The cut across the shoulders gives it a sharp, tailored look. Very nice!

Light but warm
Find that a 1X fits true to size with room for a LE Drifter sweater underneath. Works well with lighter top as well. It wouldn't be really warm without long sleeves under it, but I have bulkier coats to fill that need. I don't like wearing down in jackets but like the warmth without the weight that it supplies. Think that this jacket does this nearly as well with the Primaloft. . Can say that I would definitely recommend it as I have already purchased another one for a gift for a wonderful niece! Also have the Primaloft vest and love it too

Agree with many reviewers about the fit
I usually order up, especially for Lands Down petite sweaters. I have a 36 C bust and size 10 pants, but I chose to order a Medium in this jacket in petite. It does fit, but it's not tailored enough to have a stylish fit. It is way roomier on top and tight on the bottom. The top should be a tad more fitted. This jacket is very thin though so I like it because if I go to the mall during these winter days, it is so easy to just fold it up and put it into my hobo bag. My husband got the men's version, but doesn't like it because it does not have inside pockets.

Love the coat, hate the fit
I wanted this coat to work so badly. Even ordered it in 2 colors so I could pick the one I liked best. Before ordering, I went into Sears and tried the plus size coats they had in stock so I was sure to order the right size. The size 2X in stores fit consistently so that is what I ordered. I was so disappointed to receive this coat to find there is a ton of extra room along the side of the bust, like a bunch of gaping fabric. But the rest of the coat fits fine so I don't think I can try going down a size.....it would be too tight in the shoulders and hip. They are now out of many colors in the size 1X anyway so I will just return both colors and go back to the drawing board.

Fit very disappointing
I'm very disappointed. The jacket is very cute and I love the light weight. But it's too big in bust and too little in torso and hips. I'm surprised because I wear a bunch of Lands End clothes, and the 3x in pants and tops fits perfectly. But this jacket doesn't come close to the Lands End normal fit; it's way too small. My go-to store has let me down!

This jacket is totally windproof.
I love this jacket. Even though it is so light, it completely blocks the wind. It is warm using the appropriate layering for the weather. The capri seas color is gorgeous. I am 5' 7", 120 lbs. and I ordered a small. I have room for a layer. The length is great and I love the high neck. I have used this on the beach in November and around the city. Very versatile and comfortable.

Good fit/great color (Purple)
Very pleased with jacket. Fits well & is very comfortable. Love the color..a nice change from Black.
In spite of the listed temperature- wear-range one would need a second layer for temps under 40 degrees.

This jacket is light weight and very warm
This jacket is light weight and not bulky at all. It is also a very warm jacket. I would highly recommend this jacket. Wish more colors were available.

wanted to love this....
I really wanted to love this jacket but the fit is all wrong. Too tight around the bottom & too loose around the bust. Tried a medium & a large & neither worked. I think a zipper at the bottom that zipped up to make the bottom not so tight might have helped. Returned both the medium & the large
