Women's Powder Belle Shoes
No more cold soggy feet
I bought these last winter for the rough Philly weather. I wore them ALL WINTER LONG...they were fabulous. I wear a uniform and they went well traveling back and forth; wore them with cords and jeans. They are comfortable with a nice footbed and ample arch support (which I need and often sends me buying Merrell or Keen). They kept my feet warm without making them sweat. I own the black in a size 10. I highly recommend them.

I had high hopes for these shoes
I had high hopes for these shoes, but they just didn't live up to my expectations. They aren't supportive at all or fitted like you'd expect a shoe to be. I kind of felt like Frankenstein clumping around in them. I even put inserts inside and that did little to improve their wear. After long wear (about an 45 mins of walking), I noticed both shoes beginning to pinch my baby toes. The final straw was when i tried to lace them up tighter, which resulted in the hook at the top popping off. And this was only the third time that I wore them. Back they go, unfortunately. With a little redesign, they could be ideal winter-weather shoes. You don't always need boots up to your knees in light snow, which is why I bought them.

So comfortable and great in the snow/ice
When I first received these I thought I was going to return them. I didn't like the look of the fake fur and the laces tied really strange. THEN I took them out for a test walk in the snow and that's when I fell in love. They are soooo comfortable, like wearing slippers, and they offer really good traction in the snow and ice. I ordered two more pair because I need backup! I ordered one full size up as I wear thick socks and they fit well.

Cozy, cute, and functional
I ordered a full size up because I always wear SmartWool socks with a thin liner in the winter. Fits perfectly. Worth every penny. I wanted a winter shoe/boot to leave by my front door. There's so many times when there's just a dusting to a few inches of snow to get through to the car, or, the sidewalks are shoveled but it's cold and you want to go walking. The insulation in these boots is just right for active use, at times when you don't need a higher, heavier boot. And, you can leave them laced in such a way that they slip right on! I'd recommend these. I might even grab another pair.

Love these boots!! But order a full size bigger!
I had bought a pair similar to these about 3 years ago and they were amazing because my feet never got cold anymore and they look more like a shoe rather than a clunky boot. I knew it was getting time for a new pair since I wear my other ones every day. I've raved so much about these boots so my mom, my sister and my daughter wanted a pair too so we placed an order for all of us. I wear a size 9 and my old pair was a size 9 so I ignored the other reviewers that said to order up a size. My whole family discovered that all the boots were too small and we ended up reordering a full size up. So my size 9 I thought I'd wear became a size 10. No big deal, we got it right now and love my new boots!!! You won't be sorry buying these. I can't say enough good things about them.

Runs small but generally comfy and warm
You definitely need to order a full size up unless you're wearing an indoor/trouser type sock. When I walk in the winter I generally wear a Smartwool sock with a very thin liner. I take a 7 and the 7 1/2 was too tight. I bought these to wear for fitness walking and travel/sightseeing when the temperature's about 30 degrees and I'll be outdoors for an hour or more . I like them and so I just ordered an 8, which I hope fits comfortably. The 200 weight insulation seems just right for how I plan to use the shoe, and if the fit on the bigger size is good, I can see these becoming my go-to, leave-by-the-front-door everyday footwear. At that point they'd be a five star item.

I bought this for a shoe, not a boot (it is called a "shoe," after all). I would call it a great commuter shoe; great for walking in the city. It is great for walking in slush, on recently shoveled/plowed surfaces, or shallow snow. When I go sledding or plan to walk through deeper snow and off maintained surfaces, I reach for a boot - not this shoe.
I have nerve issues with my feet and they get chilled very easily. These shoes are super warm and keep my toes nice and toasty. I got them in brown and black, and I've pretty much worn just these shoes since they arrived about two weeks ago.
I have small feet, and I can fit them in a gallon-sized Ziploc to store in my purse or computer bag when I get to the office, which is a plus. I wear a 6 or 6.5, depending on the shoe. I read the reviews that these run a half size small, so I ordered the 6.5. They definitely fit like a 6, which still worked for me. I recommend going up a half size when you order, like everyone else and as Land's End recommends.

Warm and comfy.
Live in Illinois and Wisconsin - lots of cold, snow and slush. These shoes are warm and comfortable. They have very good traction on slippery surfaces. I usually get a size 9 1/2 Lands'end shoe/boot. I ordered this in a size 10 and they fit just fine. Got them in Spice Brown which go with pretty much every color. Just ordered the Powder Belle boots.

Very nice shoe but runs small!
I received my new shoes yesterday and followed the suggestions to order up 1/2 larger. I should have ordered 1 whole size up. I ordered 9.5 but needed 10. I am 64 and need good shoes.
These are well made, sturdy and warm but run small. I ordered a second pair yesterday and will use the originals as slippers/around the house shoes. I'd even buy another pair if I had the money.

The Powder Belle Shoes/boots are absolutely comfortable.
They fit well & the insoles are supportive like a good athletic shoe. The fit is true to size. They are warm & waterproof. I bought the Rich Purple which is a really fun color to wear. I am also buying them in black.
