Women's Polartec Aircore 200 Pea Coat
I Own This Jacket in Two Colors
Okay, like another reviewer I too am writing my review based on an earlier purchase. I bought the black and the grey about two years ago. These two coats are the most used, most versatile coats I own and I own a lot of coats (I'm crazy about jackets!) So, the lining is a big plus. Because I am petite I thought I'd save a few bucks a couple years ago and bought the nearly identical girl's version of the fleece pea coat. It is not lined. I hated it. It was overall shapeless because without the lining it clung and stuck to my body in weird places and layering it was awkward because you cannot layer neatly without the lining. These jackets are surprisingly warm (I live in San Francisco where it's cold all year) and it is perfect. You cannot go wrong with this jacket. I have washed mine countless times and it comes out perfect again and again. No pilling or wear. I would totally buy another but I don't like the colors this year. The red, on my monitor is too "Target" red and I already have two wardrobe staple colors. I would have loved a mustard color! Also, I am 5'3" 100 pounds and the Petite XS fits perfectly!

Soft, comfortable, good fit in petite!
I ordered this jacket on sale, because I love the feel Lands End fleece but wanted a nicer-looking jacket. The teal waters color is much prettier in person, much nicer than in the picture. The jacket fits well (petite X-small), looks great, and is incredibly comfortable! I'm small and short (5', 104), and I'm so happy to have found a peacoat that doesn't make me look unnecessarily bulky.

Love the jacket, inside and out.
I ordered a medium petite. The fit was good. the lining kept it from bunching up.

nice light jacket.
Love this jacket. I was surprised that the inside is fully lined with slick material to help with taking on and off (I missed that in the description). Even though it is fleece it looks nice enough to be warn with dressier clothes.

I'm returning it
Wow, this is a really unflattering coat. I buy a lot of my clothes from LE and I have two winter coats from LE that I love, this jacket is just really poor quality though. The black is washed out despite it being new, the fit is baggy, with the buttons not lining up correctly and overall it does not live up to the description. Really disappointed because I need a casual but warm jacket for running errands, casual weekend events, etc and I though the pea coat style + fleece would be a winner.

This peacoat is classy, warm, lined and washable!
I cannot believe how good looking this fleece peacoat is. I have worn it for travel, shopping and to church! I was surprised to find only one buttonhole to button the center button, but this is all the buttoning the coat needs to hang straight without pulling at the fleece fabric. I have not washed it yet, but see no reason why the fleece and lining would not come out of the washer and dryer looking well, just as all my other quality fleece garments have. An amazingly versatile coat!

I have to stop buying this jacket!
Absolutely love it. Bought the peacock blue color when it was a little marked down, loved it so much I bought the red one later. Now that there's even more markdown I had to have the charcoal one. I'm an 18 and can wear either that size or the 1X comfortably, usually pay a little extra to get the 1X if it's a coat I'm going to wear something under.
I Iive in Nashville, which doesn't get super cold, so this jacket should fill the bill six or seven months out of the year. It's way warmer than I expected, honestly - kind of wish it wasn't lined b/c it's so soft I'd like that on the inside, too… but as others point out that does make it lie down a little better.
Just love this. It's like a lot of my other 'tech' jackets but with a little more formal look. Going to wear the heck out of all of them, I have the feeling. Tickled to find all this great stuff at LandsEnd, why haven't I been shopping here for years? Just wish my local Sears carried more of the line in the larger sizes. :(

Too short and too lightweight
I really wanted to love this coat. I've been wanting a pea coat for a long time or at least some type of jacket/coat that wasn't as casual as a parka nor as dressy as my full-length coats. I thought this might fit the bill, particularly as turquoise is one of my favorite colors. That being said, this coat sadly under performs. As others have said, the length is just too short. You really feel like your back end is just hanging out there. I could definitely feel the cold in that vicinity! Also some have commented that they liked the material being fleece. In my case, I just felt that the fleece was too lightweight. With a pea coat, you want a bit of heft to it and this just felt like I was putting on a lightweight fleece top that happened to be double-breasted. Although my 2X fit fine, there's just no reason for me to keep the coat in spite of it's lovely color. Back it goes.

This Coat is Far Superior to the Aircore 200 Parka
I purchased both the Parka and Pea Coat versions of the Aircore 200. The Parka has been disappointing on several levels, but the Pea Coat is definitely not!
The Pea Coat and pockets are fully lined, which makes this for a supremely comfortable wearing experience. I was able to order this in a color I truly like (merlot) and the styling makes this easy to dress up or down.
I normally wear a 1X, and I'm 5'8". I worried with numerous reviews reporting the sleeves were short that perhaps I would have a similar problem with this, so I purchased the 2X. I am closer to an "apple" shape, so this has produced a workable result for me--the arms are the perfect length, and I can wear the coat with or without a sweater underneath and be perfectly comfortable.
My only wish is that the buttons were all black instead of a black/brown mottled button, but honestly that's incredibly minor. I can't recommend this enough. I wish the Aircore 200 Parka had been designed half as well!
