Women's Polartec Aircore 200 Pea Coat
I Own This Jacket in Two Colors
Okay, like another reviewer I too am writing my review based on an earlier purchase. I bought the black and the grey about two years ago. These two coats are the most used, most versatile coats I own and I own a lot of coats (I'm crazy about jackets!) So, the lining is a big plus. Because I am petite I thought I'd save a few bucks a couple years ago and bought the nearly identical girl's version of the fleece pea coat. It is not lined. I hated it. It was overall shapeless because without the lining it clung and stuck to my body in weird places and layering it was awkward because you cannot layer neatly without the lining. These jackets are surprisingly warm (I live in San Francisco where it's cold all year) and it is perfect. You cannot go wrong with this jacket. I have washed mine countless times and it comes out perfect again and again. No pilling or wear. I would totally buy another but I don't like the colors this year. The red, on my monitor is too "Target" red and I already have two wardrobe staple colors. I would have loved a mustard color! Also, I am 5'3" 100 pounds and the Petite XS fits perfectly!

I love this coat. I ordered this more as a fall coat, but the warmth rating they list is accurate. I have worn it in 10 degree weather and it has kept me warm. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is when it arrived, the lining in both pockets must have unraveled or something, as they had holes. I called the customer service and they offered to overnight a new coat to me. Also for tall, it could be a little longer in the sleeves. I'm 5'11" and the sleeves seem to be the same length as a regular.

Versatile -Can wear in Phoenix and in Chicago
The jacket fits true to size. It is of a very good quality. I can wear this jacket in Phoenix in the evenings without looking as if I'm going to the ski slope, but is warm enough for colder climes as well. I've been complemented multiple times on the color.

Pretty coat but had to return it.
The coat was as pictured but the sleeves were too short and there was a hole in one pocket. Return at local Sears store was easy enough.

Great for everyday wear!
As a mom of small children, this coat really suits me since it doesn't have to be dry cleaned. It is cozy and I love the lining. According to the size chart I needed a small, but it was too big and I had to reorder an extra-small (I'm 5'4 and 115 lbs). I think this coat can be dressed up or dressed down. My only (small) critique is that I wish the coat was just a hair longer.
I originally ordered the teal and I love the color...I ordered a second one in red! I ordered my sister one for Christmas as well!

Classy "car coat"
Just what I needed - a short coat that was dressy! Nice weight and not so long that it's a pain to tuck in when sitting in the car. I bought the wine color and really like it!

Very soft and warm!
This is a very comfortable jacket. The fabric is soft and substantial. I would say the jacket runs true to size, Especially if you will be wearing sweaters or bulky clothing under it. I only gave 4 stars because one of the buttons fell off within a week of getting the jacket, and I don't think I should have to sew my own buttons on when I am paying this much for a piece of clothing. Other than the button issue this is a great jacket for cool weather.

I was a little disappointed...
I ordered this coat in the grey color, as I have it in a lovely medium pink color, and decided I wanted to add a neutral one to my wardrobe. It is a comfortable coat, and warm enough when the weather isn't too extreme. An easy coat to put on to run errands, and easy to add cute accessories. Also basic enough and not so casual, so it looks nice with work wear. This one fits the same as the one I purchased in 2011. With all its great qualities, why did I give it an 'average' rating? Because in the current incarnation of this coat, there are a few design features which have been changed, that I do not like. First, the coat is maybe 2 inches shorter than the previous one. This is OK as it still offers appropriate warmth, but it doesn't hang quite as nicely as the previous one did. Second, the inside chest pocket is gone. One of the reasons I have enjoyed purchasing coats from Land's end in the past is because I like having that inner pocket, or even more than one. I commute, and do not like carrying my phone and iPod in a place where they can easily be pick-pocketed during the winter-you cannot easily feel someone taking something from your coat pocket due to the thick fabrics and insulation or lining. Finally, I miss the little hanging loop near the neck tag. True enough, you can use the neck tag to hang the coat when only hooks are available, but over time the tag seems to come undone, while for some reason the separate hanging tab seems to last much longer, and is usually placed to help the coat keep its shape better. I know this is a cost cutting measure as are the other two items I mentioned, but this one is more easily resolved: fleece doesn't fray and no matter how many corners you cut there will always be unusable pieces on the cutting room floor; why not cut them into half inch strips and use them to make a hanging loop? They don't have to be sewn/finished before use. I will likely still purchase this coat in the future, but I won't be as happy or excited about my purchase as I once was.

love this jacket
I always wanted a peacoat but wool is too hot and scratchy; this fleece is a great alternative. Warm enough for me in all but the coldest weather. The lining makes it easy on and off; reasonable quality for the price. I have not experienced a problem with the lining catching or pulling as some reported. I wear this jacket often and get a lot of compliments. I definitely recommend this jacket and will be buying another color.
