Women's Polartec Aircore 200 Parka
I've bought it in ivory. Perfect fit, color, fabric and cut. A little bit long sleeves. I was looking that kind of jacket and finally I found it on Land's End website. Thank you.

They changed the fabric!
I bought one of these jackets a couple of years ago and it fit and was very comfortable. I ordered a new one recently and it is made of a thinner fabric. The zipper does not glide easily and, in fact, I couldn't use it and I will be returning it. I wish they didn't change the design and fabric, because I'm very happy with my old one.

I would definitely recommend this product. I'm 5'10" and ordered a Tall Large and it fits perfectly. Great fit and great looking. The wine color is very flattering and it's December and I'm still wearing it. Hope you keep it in stock as I will probably be ordering another one in the Spring.

This is a great fleece jacket. It is a little different than the one I bought a couple of years ago (no collar like the old one, an added sleeve zippered pocket on the new). I'm not sure what sort of arms folks are trying to put the sleeves on, but the sleeves on mine are ample enough without being baggy--the parka goes easily over a 100 fleece, or a sweater. The style and fit are very flattering; the length hits me right below the chunkiest part of my thighs for an overall slenderizing look. The cinch waist lands at my natural waist line--again, not sure why anyone would say it sits higher. The sleeves are long, but I find that to be a plus. If you bend your arm at the elbow, then your wrists are still covered. I won't delude myself though, this parka will not be warm enough when/if the temps plummet. I bought it at 30% off, perhaps that's why I'm easier to please? I bought it in red in case that matters and it's made in Jordon.

This jacket fits well, fitted around the middle with a drawcord to fit it even more if you want to cinch the waist. I do not like the draw cord material, it is stiff and sticks out. The reviewer that talked about the hood sliding over her eyes is absolutely correct- annoying and if you cinch the hood it gets worse! I am 5'5 130lbs hour glass figure and got the small and this is extremely flattering. The sleeves are fine over a sweater with a long sleeved shirt under it. Not sure why everyone is complaining about tight arms- my arms are muscular and thick and it fits fine. Arms are actually a little long too, and usually I have the opposite problem. Because it is fleece and unlined sliding it over some types of sweaters may be difficult. I wore it tonight, windy and 56* outside and I could feel the wind through the sleeves. This is not for a windy day for sure but it is warm at this temperature and after walking fast for a few miles I didn't notice the wind anymore because I was hot. I am not sure how good it would be at the +5-25 degree rating they gave it as it is thin. I got the dark wine and it is fabulous with my dark olive skin. Despite the hood and draw cord issues I really like this and the price was reasonable for the quality.

love the feel
I love the feel of this jacket, just the right weight. However, I think it runs large and I have to exchange it for a smaller size. Otherwise I think this will be perfect over a sweatshirt or sweater! And the color red is beautiful.

Baby boomers: Definitely size up
Nice fabric, nice finish, worth the price.
I tried this parka on over "light layers" - my Land's End medium petite cotton knit nightgown and Land's End medium pull-on knit pants (in a style I wish you'd bring back!) and then I hung it in the closet next to my Land's End size 12 wool walking coat and old comfy Land's End medium petite Polartec 200 jacket. Stacks of Land's Ends tee shirts in the closet, Medium size.
My point is, I'm used to a certain size, and this ain't it. In a regular medium, it's snug across my 34C bust and size 10 hips. I'm 5'3" and the hood falls over my face to my chin. Maybe it's the princess seams over my menopause middle, but what is up with that hood? Bought a regular medium for a bit of extra length and shoulder room, and oddly, the sleeves are cut almost petite short. Usually without elastic, regular sleeve length drags my fingertips. It's just a bit weird. Since I live in a mild winter zone, it will probably be okay for my lunchtime walks over light shirts and slacks with that hood rolled back, but I sure would not pick it for hiking or shoveling snow. Pulling across the chest, hood falling over my eyes, not happening..
We size 12s do not imagine we look willowy but we don't want to look lumpy and pinched.
I am keeping it because I got a sale price and returning things at Christmas is a pain. I'm guessing a petite large will be too narrow as well. This is my first disappointing Land's End coat purchase in 20 years.

Just what I was looking for
I love this jacket. It's just right for cool Fall or Spring days in the midwest. I bought it to replace a 10+-year old Lands End barn jacket (still in great condition), and wanted something that could be sporty and casually-dressy. This fits the bill! While I agree that the sleeves are a bit snug, and that a thick sweater may not be very comfortably-layered underneath, I was looking for something to throw over a shirt or turtleneck when the days cool off. I'm slim and petite and the jacket is very flattering and can be accessorized for a casually elegant look. My only recommendations for improvement: a lining would help in getting the jacket on and off in a hurry, the zipper takes a couple of attempts before it'll engage, and the cuffs make for a slim line, but take more time to get your hand and sleeves through them. It's not the easiest jacket to get on and off in a hurry, but the look is great and it's worth the extra time. Maybe a larger size would help, but I like how it fits too much to size up!
