Rated 4 out of 5 by ShariCat Good, but...
I wore this during my recent trip to NYC. Good: Warm and light in weight; hood was deep enough to keep my head warm; sleeve and overall length were perfect. Problems: (1) Zipper kept snagging on the lining of the inside flap, no matter what I did to avoid it; will have to sew down that lining so that it doesn't puff up to get snagged. (2) Getting in and out of the sleeves was a challenge with a T-shirt or sweater. (3) The lining in the pocket could've been thicker to keep the hands warmer; instead a thin material was used. Otherwise the jacket worked well enough for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Katalin The smallest XL size you can imagine!
I ordered this Parka to replace one I bought from Lands End a number of years ago, which I lost on vacation this year.
First, the parka is warm, but what is up with the fabric?? This is not made of a soft and supple fleece, as my previous one was. The fabric for this one is stiff, and to touch the "fleece" feels more like the type of felt you would use when making Christmas stockings or children's toys. And because of it's stiffness, it isn't very flattering to wear at all.
Then, there is the sizing. I have never worn more than a Lands End large for tops, and I am a size 14 in jeans. Yet I can barely get this XL sized jacket zipped up over my hips, even with the drawstring at the waist fully let out. I certainly won't be able to wear it with a sweater or pullover on underneath.
So, for me - even on sale - it has been a useless purchase, and very disappointing, as Lands End generally does far, far better than this...

Rated 1 out of 5 by KST Quality very poor compared to last year
Sadly, I have to give this a thumbs down, as the Aircore 200 in this years parka is totally different and inferior to the same item I bought last year. I only bought another of these parka's this year as the Neptune Blue colour is so lovely - I had one last year in a bright turquoise but it's too bright a colour, it's just too garish. However, the fleece in that one was robust and warm, didn't pick up hair and lint. This years Aircore 200 is thinner, not nearly as warm as last years, and most annoyingly, it collects every single piece of lint, dust, fluff and hair (dog and human) that is anywhere in the neighbourhood. It just looks sloppy, and the fluff does not wash off (or come off properly even when tumble dried). Very disappointed in this. I've been wishing LE would bring back the Heavenly Fleece from a few years ago - it was warm, and slightly dressier (if ever that can be said for fleece) and it didn't pick up every speck of dust and dog hair. I won't be buying any of the regular fleece from LE again, especially as shipping to Australia is SO very expensive. Such a shame.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lovingit love it...but....
This is an awesome jacket for all sorts of weather. Keeps ya really warm without layers. My only criticism are the sleeves...i love the length but the sleeves are too tight....if you get a bigger size you assume all of it is bigger...but the sleeves are not.......

Yes, I do hope you bring this back next year!! I think I lost mine and I see you are all out of the teal color, which I loved. Major bummer. : (

I really liked this jacket. I thought it was true to size. I love the longer length. I cinched the drawstring a little and it looked flattering. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by shopperinsocal gave as a gift, very warm
I gave this to my 80 year old mother-in-law, and she is very happy to have it. The soft magenta color is lovely, and MIL was so warm that she actually took the jacket off after a brisk walk. Usually, she never warms up, so this jacket is super-warm. The zippered pockets, and tabbed, two-way zipper are nice features. Sleeves are a good length. Thanks, Lands-End, for making my mother-in-law warm and happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maribel67 I like this item so much I got it in almost every color...lol Caution!..Unless you will be extra layering and for a nicer fit go one size smaller.
I got them in my size as well as one size smaller for a tighter and sexier fit. The quality it's just as it looks in the pictures and have warned them at work all throughout late fall, winter and early spring seasons. The colors may be a little off though, a little darker or lighter than in the pictures. But, they are true to the look and quality. This item is so warm that I have yet to use a heavy coat during the winter months. A couple of extra layers, and I'm good to go. They turn a lot of heads at work, but where I get em, is my little secret. My sister in law is so in love with them that I had to get her one for Christmas. Needless to say how excited she was. Her sister now wants one too. Oh nooo!..I'm getting them both and me the soft magenta for Valentines day and spring ware, they will be surprised. Did I mention the black one looks very HOT on me?...lol LUV, LUV LUUV this item! BTW, in case it helps, I'm 5'02 - 149Lb and I bought size L in regular for extra layering and regular winter ware. And for warmer days I bought size M for a tighter and slimmer look and fit. (Petite is too short for me) I don't feel comfortable showing my rear as..sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by caylagreen **The answer to my prayer**
I'm a petite of petite of 4'11, 100 lb, small chest. (Ann Taylor XXSP or 00P). I'm always cold and I'd love to have a well-fitted fleece jacket since wool jacket is too heavy, too formal, and not as versatile for camping and hiking. I got one in the kid section when fleece was just became popular from REI in 2007. Worn it to death. I noticed after many washes, it was no longer as warm. Having the most difficult size body and most being picky person that I am, I refused to get boxy and neon shade fleece kid jacket for a replacement. I've then tried down jacket for camping. It worked but I was unhappy about the Michelin-man look. So I kept on searching for SHAPELY and THICK fleece jacket for a couple yrs. Even thought of making a fleece jacket myself but can't find the quality fleece from fabric stores that don't look too dull or blankety. FYI, L. Ends was crossed out of my list due to a huge petite size velvet dress I ordered a while back. Until last yr, I asked and tried on a LE fleece parka of my yoga teacher (who was also petite). Went online but missed the xsp.
I ordered XSP in purple wine, red, and black. Kept the purple. Black is too dull since I'm always in black. Xmas red is too bright on me. I like somewhat tight-fit clothings, so this parka runs a bit big around my chest area (but b/c the elastic waist band, it looks ok). The sleeves are too long, which they usually are. But I figure it would be okay. I'll have room for more layers n I can fix the sleeve. Overall, I like it a lot and would highly recommended to anyone, especially if you don't have much of the hour-glass figure like me. This parka give you the feminine look and the warm of a regular boxy fleece jacket. I also like the thickness of the fleece, the hood, and the adjustable waist band that keeps the cold wind out . Haven't wash it so don't know how well it will hold up. But if I have to order one each year to keep it going, I would.
If a difficultly fit and picky person like me liking this parka jacket, you would too. Get it now with the unbeatable price (for the thick and nice quality) of $35-$40 .

Rated 2 out of 5 by LovelyL Terrible Cut
I purchased this based on the other reviews....and ordered up one size. Although it's comfy and warm....the cut is terrible. It's boxy and drapes in the front.
